Description
Tired of opening your journal to enable tracking for every new revealed location? And then opening it again to disable tracking once you've arrived?

Then this mod is just for you! It automatically tracks new journal locations and untracks them when visited.

Features
  • Automatically enables tracking on newly revealed map locations.
  • When visited, the map location will no longer be tracked.

Options
Under Options -> Mods, the following options have been added.
  • Ask Before Untracking: A confirmation popup can be displayed before a location is untracked. It is disabled by default.
  • When to Stop Tracking Locations: Conditions can be set that determine when locations are untracked such as whether all points-of-interest must be found or whether all named hostiles must be killed.
  • Attribute Blacklist: Specific types of locations can be blacklisted to not auto-track. The default value ignores goatfolk villages and weeps.
  • Category Blacklist: Specific categories of journal notes can be blacklisted. The default value blacklists user-created journal notes.

I uploaded a new version. Let me know if it behaves as you expect when stumbling upon locations.

The new options work great! Thanks so much. Could you have locations that are stumbled upon added to tracking when it's set to anything other than "don't ask", "stop tracking on entry"?

@BrokenRobot
Pushed an update that adds 2 new options.

The first is an option to display a confirmation popup before a location is untracked.

The second allows specifying a few criteria as to when a location will be untracked, specifically all POIs found and all named hostiles killed. POIs and named hostile creates are only searched within the zone indicated by the journal note, so lairs where the creates is underground won't necessarily track the owner of the lair FYI.

thank you thank you thank you. I truly cannot describe just how much this has improved my QOL!

Would be nice if this could untrack when a location is fully explored instead of just visited. In case you had to leave and come back later. Or since "fully explored" might be a difficult check, an option for a "do you want to stop tracking" popup when you leave. I'm finding I'm still doing a lot of manual tracking, especially for locations I stumble upon while travelling with a full inventory, and will have to come back in order to be able to gather more loot
