Civil War Mod

Description
On the cusp of Civil war the Roman world stands with bated breath as the Triumvirate breaks down. Choose from Mark Antony, Octavian, Lepidus or the Pirate King Sextus to shape Rome in you image! As well as the Roman factions a number of smaller client states have been added for the period as playable factions such a Judaea, Galatia, Caledonia and more! New units have been added or modified to help face off against the post-Marian war machine. In addition, the Roman factions have a province system applied to make conquest more strategic: Heavier and more elite units can now only be trained in 'Capital' settlements and a regional recruitment system, one which predated the auxilia system of Augustus, now has to be relied on for supporting and light troops. Each region has it's own units to offer adding further flavour and diversity to rosters. Sextus has unique marine units which can be trained from any port and other Roman factions are able to train at least a standard Roman Marine. Several new management buildings have been added to help control population or grant provincial development. Steppe factions can now horde adding for another element of gameplay. The fundamental ethic of the game still retains the vanilla feel in a new scenario. **The game is very much in test mode at this stage and will be tweaked as required but should be over 90% complete** Constructive feedback and suggestions are always welcome!

I'll check them out and then go from there.

@General Pickles Honestly I'm not sure how to just add units as mod option but I will certainly think about adding them to the original mod. I much prefer them to the 'barbarian' variants so I'm glad they are being well received. Any others in particular you feel would fit well in the 'Vanilla' style? I'm more than happy for anyone to use my mod as a resource though.

Honestly, either added to the vanilla plus mod or just standalone. Those units are amazing.

@General Pickles Do you mean in the Vanilla plus mod? I have been toying with integrating some of the units such as the Nomadic cultures. Some will sort of undo the immersion as they are a later development for some factions/cultures. I haven't had much feedback on either mod though so am hesitant to make too many more changes.

any chance you could have the additional units in the base game? not too sure how it would be implemented though

@Texian45 They are well beyond the time frame of the mod. Some of the aesthetic could have been taken but I have stated clearly this is not meant to be super accurate.

idk why you had to remove the old roman units man

@little_tsparrow The Family trees could perhaps be expanded a little but it is part of the pressure to keep your 'claimant' alive. It would be an idea if you could have the settlements default to one of the other Roman factions but maybe impossible. I think I have a fix for now regarding development. Thanks again for the patient and feedback.
