Description
The goal of this mod is mainly to allow the management of more complex battalions—units that we wouldn’t otherwise get to see in Army General mode.
The Army General campaigns are my favorite part of SD2, but after playing them on both sides a few times, they can become repetitive. Moreover, there is a clear disparity between the Germans and the Russians and the divisions feel monotonous, always featuring the same units.

I have therefore tried to revisit the German lineup to improve the gameplay experience and achieve better balance: this mod, indeed, also aims to balance Soviet and German forces.

This mod focuses only on the Vistula campaign, making the following changes:
- The duration of battles has been significantly increased
- German divisions have been greatly strengthened

Note: after testing it, I’m convinced that I’ve completely turned the odds… Germany is now absolutely unbeatable in this campaign. For this reason, if someone requests it, I will in the future revisit the Soviet divisions as well, strengthening them to make the gameplay experience more challenging.
I therefore plan to apply further changes—leave your feedback!

Yeah, battle time has been increased to 90 minutes and the requirements to get a victory or a loss have also been changed. Otherwise the game would end too soon, making it useless to have a 90 minutes battle... hope that clarifies

Sure I understand, I know that modding SD2 is no easy job, anyway that is still nice work !

Yeah, to me it's obvious that the soviets need their divisions strengthened as well in this mod. The problem is that modding army general campaign in this way is pretty time-consuming: applying this changes took me two weeks! That's also why I limited my work to the vistula campaign, moreover another mod (from which I took inspiration) features a similar change to the Baltics AG. So it will be a slow process. Speaking of planes, they have the worst denominations in the game files, so one has to know exactly how specific air units are named if he wants to modify that aspect: land units are way easier to identify and add to existing divisions
