Description
Want more freedom to build stuff without limits by the game? This mod is for you!

IMPORTANT: for this mod you must restart the game after changing the settings.

By default, this mod only removes "Ground-only" and "Rooftop-only" restrictions and add "Platforms over 1x1". You can configure it by going to the Main Menu -> Mods -> Settings button next to the mod's name.

- Remove Ground-only restriction: You can build any building on top of other buildings. In order for some buildings with underground parts to work properly like the Underground Pile, I also removed their occupation so you can build under it but there maybe graphical glitches.
- Remove Rooftop-only restriction: You can build any building on the ground.
- Platforms over 1x1: You can always build platforms over 1x1 buildings (for example you can now build a Double Platform over a Lumberjack Flag). Terrain Block and Dynamites are excluded to not cause you to lose buildings when reloading a save.
- All solid: All buildings can now be built on top. Obviously things may float in the air because the top is not fully occupied.
- No more flooded buildings: Buildings won't get flooded anymore. They keep working as usual.
- Super foundation: All buildings can be built with only one support (see screenshots). For buildings with entrance, that is the block you need to support. For those without, it's the central block.
- Magical foundation: Your building does not need any support at all. It can just float on the air. You may still need to build the scaffolding to be able to put the buildings, then remove them.
- Hanging Structure (require Magical Foundation): you can build your buildings sideway to terrains (see screenshot).
- Super hanging terrain: You can exceed the 3 hanging terrain limit to 50 (not higher due to performance impact).
- Remove terrain-to-bottom restriction: Remove the restriction of 'continuous terrain down to the bottom of the map' (Underground Ruins and Water sources). Also works for Map Editor but your users will need this mod with this option on to play your map without those objects getting removed.

Note: for super foundation to work, I also moved the "pivot" or building point of those buildings so when you build, you choose the entrance with your cursor instead of the center of the building. Honestly that feel very nice to me and should have been the game's default.

Known issues:
- Attempt to build Tubeway under the Tubeway Station will crash the game. Better not build the Tubeway Station without all the supports, if you do, be careful when building the Tubeway.
- Magical foundation: be careful that while you can build stuff with entrances, it's likely that Beaver won't be able to reach them physically and so can't use them without an actual support.

Do you mean you want to just build a Terrain Block over a tree? Then you will need the other mod, then build a Platform (3) over it, then put the block on it.

actually, overhang was the wrong word to use, because the "actual" overhang building can be built over plants, etc. more specifically i was looking at building a piece of dirt one level above a plant. with the mod active, it would not allow it. if you had a blank space with dirt above and dirt below, you cannot plant anything in that blank space.

i did not try this with the above ground plants, but i did test with the "grows in water" plants.

will this mod allow overhangs over planted food?

to answer my own question, no this does not allow you to build over food. -- specifically i am referring to spadderdock and cattail.

I tried subscribing to TImprove 4 UI and disabling Path drawing, but it didn’t help with the performance issue.

Yeah, that option may help a bit with performance. But if it does not work I have no idea why it affects performance so much.

It is only when I click completed buildings. I am subscribed to TImprove 4 UI. Do you mean disable remove path highlight? Because there is no path drawing option.

Do you mean when you select a completed building, or do you mean when you select a tool to start making a building? If the former could you try subscribing to TImprove 4 UI and disable Path drawing? If the latter I guess that's the calculation cost...

This mod is great except for one issue I'm having. All options work except when super hanging terrain is active it causes my fps to drop to single digits when I click on any building in the game.
