Report a translation problem
i did not try this with the above ground plants, but i did test with the "grows in water" plants.
to answer my own question, no this does not allow you to build over food. -- specifically i am referring to spadderdock and cattail.

Good thing that one broke simply because I forgot to switch it on when there is no other option is chosen 😅
As for Magical foundation issue with pathfinding unfortunately it won't be fixed as there is no easy way for it.
Also bad news: the manufactory issue likely won't be fixed because it's too built-in into the game (Beavers need pathfinding to bring material to the door). So while you can build it, you still need a path (and a Platform under it) to the door/entrance of the manufactory.
