Description
Vanilla | No Mods | No Script | No DLC (armor texture only)

The atmospheric ship is designed to survive in the gravity of planets. The design uses functional blocks intended for basic survival, which are part of the ship, so its construction can be carried out in parallel with the processing of ore and the production of components. To convert to a ship, the option "Enable convert to station" must be available in the world settings.

Design Benefit
1. A ship with a full production cycle that allows you to search for and process basic ores and ice, as well as produce all the components to equip the ship at the start of survival.

2. The vertical thrust of the atmospheric thrusters and battery charge is enough to move the full volume of cargo modules through the air in the gravity of planets up to 1.2g

3. The ship can be easily modified for space using hydrogen and ion thrusters.

4. The small weight of the ship allows you to take off into orbit of a planet without hydrogen using just two additional ion thrusters.

5. To survive in the world of Prototech, you can rebuild the ship for PvE

I didn't think of such a solution myself until I saw your ship. In my opinion, good design is defined by the possibility of modification. You did a great job, I just modified the ship a little for survival.

I checked it out, cool utilitarian build! It's like a stubby relative of the LAC-10. I like how you set it up to be built as a starter base, then converted to a ship. I honestly hadn't thought of that!
