Traumatized Watcher Behavior

Description
Makes Watcher act like a traumatized slugcat horrified by the strange things he sees.

Update 0.0.6: The Watcher is no longer a dependency; this mod can be configured to apply to any slugcat. Slugcats are now afraid of iterators. Added options to allow Watcher to freeze when frightened, instead of running away.

This mod was inspired by my controller glitching out in coincidentally creepy experiences, and I thought the effect was an awesome mechanic in the DLC (until I realized it was joystick drift, lol).

Note: This makes the Watcher slightly harder to control, especially in dangerous moments. You can tone down the effect in the config menu if you find it excessive.

Full feature list:
* Forces semi-random inputs if the slugcat is scared. The inputs are biased to make the slugcat run away from the danger.
* The slugcat calms down over time.
* The slugcat visibly shakes when scared.
* The slugcat blinks erratically when scared.
* The slugcat can hyperventilate after escaping a severe danger.
* The effect applies to Watcher and Slugpups by default, but can be applied to any slugcat in the config menu.
* The Watcher is afraid of: Echoes, Rot, Distortions/weird effects and lightning, Dangerous creatures in general (to a lesser degree), and Sudden sounds.

@agent_blablabla, I'm so sorry for not responding sooner. I can't find "agent_blablabla" or similarly named users on Discord. Finding people on the Discord phone app is hard; I often use the web browser version on my laptop. If you go to Discord.com , there should be a way to log in. Then in the Direct Messages tab/server (top left option), click "Find or start a conversation" and enter @TheLazyCowboy1.
If you have trouble doing that, please just create a Discussion here on this mod page and copy/paste your mod code so far.

Actually I already made an account on my phone (Discord won't download on my laptop for some reason :rwslugcatdead:), same username as my Steam. I think my problem is getting the mod to load, because right now I just have a couple of debug.log messages.

I have no idea how to use Discord so can you please find me if you're still interested in helping me?

@agent_blablabla, Both the official Rain World server and the Rain World Modding Server have great modding support. Even the best modders need help sometimes. I rarely use Discord myself, but it's convenient to have in case I need to discuss something with another modder. I'd recommend Discord; but again, feel free to open a discussion here if you don't want to bother making a Discord account.

I don't have Discord but I've been thinking about getting it, so what would you prefer?

@agent_blablabla, If you have Discord, you can contact me there (@TheLazyCowboy1) and I can try to help you. If you don't have Discord, you can try making a Steam discussion here and show your code and I can probably figure out how to fix it.

I wanted to do something simple first.

I wanted to make scavengers recognize tamed lizards.

I CAN'T EVEN GET IT TO MAKE SOME DEBUG MESSAGES

Nice, thanks!
Once I finally get my first hook to work (It might work and just isn't doing anything, I wanted to make it do something ridiculous before I did anything real), I'll make a relatively simple mod I have planned (Tired of friendly scavengers impaling your pet lizards? Get Reputation+, as soon as I get to making it!), then perhaps I'll get to work on making the Envoy. I'll probably have the effects of your mod as an optional setting to make it more difficult.

@agent_blablabla, Yes, that is possible. It's not commonly done, and it's slightly more annoying than it ought to be. However, it'd probably be better for you if you just copy/borrow/steal my code for this mod and include it in yours. In fact, this pretty simple mod might be a good template for a first mod. Having your own code would make it easy for you to make tweaks specifically for your custom slugcat (e.g: add a line to make it especially afraid of spiders or something), which would be awesome.

Chimney Canopy (and the echo there) was literally what inspired this mod to be made. My controller was glitching out in Chimney, and it fit so well I thought it was intentional game design.

Also, I've been wanting to do modding (and I know C# because I'm am indee game dev), although I've been wondering if it's possible to optionally include another mod. For example, I have a slugcat idea and most of the effects of this mod would be pretty fitting for them. Could add my slugcat to the game, and make it OPTIONALLY access this mod?

Oh, OK. I hadn't installed the mod yet and I think that the screenshot I thought I saw seemed like it just had a bunch of bools for each of the slugcats.

I'm actually relatively new to actually playing the game, and in my first Survivor run (I tried Monk once and found him harder despite being the "easy" mode) and I recently made it to Chimney Canopy. There's so many lizards now it's insane, I have a pretty good reputation with the scavengers yet they're still scared to death of me. One time I was just peacefully eating batflies, and an elite scav just walked up to me, panicked for a moment, calmed down, put an explosive spear in my chest, and ran away scared.

I've been trying to get to the echo and get out of here, but I keep either getting jumpscared by lizards or falling into unfair instant death pits.

I have since installed "Logical Pits."

With how I feel while Chimney Canopying I think this mod will be (other than the spasms) perfect.
