Description

I’d been waiting for VQE - Cryptoforge to drop, and when it finally did, I was a little bummed to see it only included 2 of the original crypto weapons from VFE - Vikings. It's totally understandable though as the new crypto weapons have a ton of customization so adding anymore would be extremely cumbersome.

But I still wanted those weapons back, so I decided to port them myself! They are fully functional with the new systems VQE - Cryptoforge has (crafting, status effects etc).

That said, I didn’t bring all of them back as the axes and crossbows felt redundant. Also, these don’t have the crazy customization options the new Cryptoforge weapons have—for obvious reasons. (However they DO come with the Norse names!)

However, I did revive an unused weapon that was left in the file (the Crypto Shotgun). And of course, I brought back the warcasket weapon from VFE - Pirates too.

Bonus: The Mjollnir Strike Targeter returns!
Technically unrelated to the crypto weapons, but it was too cool to leave behind. If it's not your thing, just use cherrypicker.

As always, if you run into a bug, please leave a comment containing a hugslib log + what you were doing when it happened. (If you don't give me a hugslib log and I chop off your limbs)

A: Yes

A: I like to think so but please let me know if things feel off

A: Should be safe to add but could be dangerous to remove.

Definitely would recommend, for colonists wanting crypto havoc with crypto weapons. More fitting if really into Viking culture, willing to adapt to newer tech.

Oh, man. I hope the Vikings themselves come back. That was some of my favorite design/base layout bits. :D

Only now found this mod. Thanks for making it!

The only big thing I enjoyed from crypto vikings was the crypto weapons. When they got retconned for more viking I just stopped using it at all.

quick question - how do i get the mjollnir strike targetter?
