Definitely would recommend, for colonists wanting crypto havoc with crypto weapons. More fitting if really into Viking culture, willing to adapt to newer tech.

Only now found this mod. Thanks for making it!

The only big thing I enjoyed from crypto vikings was the crypto weapons. When they got retconned for more viking I just stopped using it at all.

This is now CE compatible on the GitHub version. I believe that the steam version was updated today with the patch as well

i have seen both the axe and shield in trade it's were i got the bugged shield from din't realize you weren't supoto get them that way

Small issue, these (or at least the shield) can show up in trade, which is not their intended means of obtainment.

yes i'm aware of this that's not wat happend it took over my weopon slot and my pawn used and axe wichs works with shield

@Sarg Bjornson Yeah I agree I used "bloat" because I was to lazy to give my explanation for why I didn't add the shield every time someone asked (especially because my reasoning is listed on the mods page)

It made sense to limit your scope before mods like Cherry Picker were made, but now that those mods do exist I don't think it's as important anymore. Now I don't need to ask Sarg to remove 80% of the content in his mods, I can just do it myself.

Honestly I fucking love "bloat". Rimworld is in large about the storytelling so I don't care if a gun my pawn uses is identical to a vanilla weapon stat wise as long as it looks cool

"Bloat" is a developer concept that for some reason jumped to the players in this game, and everyone parrots it constantly. Why wasn't it some nice sounding term, like "out of scope"? Or "redundancy"? Sigh

The shield looks cool though, and it aesthetically matches the rest of the equipment.

"Bloat" is a pointlessly overused word. It doesn't effect game performance to add the shield back in. If someone doesn't want it on a crafting menu there are three mods I can think of right off the top of my head that can remove it from there, and that's if they don't want to take the three minutes to patch it out or the one minute to comment out the XML block.
