Description
FETID GLEN IS BROKEN RIGHT NOW, if you end up in that region just go straight for the Shattered Terrace rift and try to avoid the indoor rooms with water in them, you should be able to avoid the main issues if you do that. Fixes for Fetid Glen rework are done but a public release for them will have to wait until i finish the main content planned for the next update.

Originally meant to just add more MSC creatures to Watcher regions, then it spiralled out of control into a bunch of general lightweight reworks to most rift regions, and completely new creature spawns for almost all of them. Does not affect Ancient Urban or Unfortunate Evolution. Some changes cause issues with the in-game map, I don't know how to fix them yet.
Highly recommended that you play this with Watcher QOL, that mod adds some new obscure creature interactions which this one makes more common.

ah, yeah that requires lediting unfortunately, i didn't change any of the room connections to creature dens (they're just broken pipes now)

that's actually not a geometry change! you can just change the pipe to connect to a different room and it should theoretically change the icon for the pipe i think? not sure cause i've actually never messed with changing a shelter connection into a normal room connection before

Also, how do I make quick edits to a room's geometry (e.g. wanting a specific pipe to be for room connection instead of a den)?

WARC_E01 is forcibly disconnected from WARC_A06 and WARC_E07, which would lead to that room otherwise.

Also pretty funny that WARC_E03 goes straight to WARC_E06 (though watery piping floods, like it's raining, when day breaks). Everything else about the accessible map works OK. Best of luck with the level- and region map-editing stuff (of note since Fetid Glen is an alternate version of Salination)!

yeah looking back on it the fetid glen rework was way too finnicky to throw together correctly so there's a lot of small oversights with the room connections and stuff that have major effects. i'll get to fixing them in the next update. if you can tell me what room you got softlocked in that would be helpful

Yo, this mod's super fun. I took a shine to Verdant Waterways and Fetid Glen for your takes on their respective ecosystems (and fun gameplay lol). There's also a feeling that Aether Ridge regions are separate places in spacetime (apart from evidence of mod subregion connection).

There are some small bugs with Fetid Glen: going there via Salination makes a portal back that overlaps with the gate to Signal Spires, a diurnal Infant Centipede has the 0.3-length label instead of AlternateForm, and diving through the bottom of WARC_A06 softlocked me. Also, passing the hard-to-climb drop in Thermal Relay makes the warp two-way at Salination (but not Coral Caves-Turbulent Pump, surprisingly). Wonder if that and some WARC day/night label "discrepancies" are something you're rollin' with.

Still, I love how many Downpour creatures like Aquapedes, Yeeks, and Mother Spiders diversify the "gameplay design". And why do i imagine elite scavs jury-rigging thermal relay coils for electric spears :D
