"Note: If you spawn in lava, just remake!" - description from TRAPPIST-1f, use it, because devs are lazy to control where the player (and stuff) spawns...
With items that burn in your hand use the trick: "split 1" and place this one.
Also remember: an emergency arc welder can weld 2 frames (fully) and you can use the leftovers later if you fast enough to save the rest.
But, even cable coil heavy, placed outside, burns on the TRAPPIST-1b around midday, as do many other placed items. So you should think carefully about how to play on this planet.
Trappist 1b yikes, failed a few times so far. The steel frames start to burn up in your hands so you have to place them very fast which is super hard. Not sure if intended but the starting tool belt is the emergency one with several arc welders in it. The actual tool belt is on the stuff kit crate and was hard to reach at the start because the lander was in an awkward place.
