Ever since I learned Oskar Potocki isn't planning on adding upgrades to Tier 3 vehicles, I've been hard at work making an upgrade pack of my own. His reasoning for not wanting to do is fair, but I've always wanted some fancy visual upgrades for my fancy vehicles. So, I made my own!

A brief overview of the content added by this mod

Tier 3 vehicles now have upgrades, similar to the upgrades from Vanilla Vehicles Expanded - Upgrades. These also come up with visual representations!












Alongside these vehicle-specific upgrades, tier 3 vehicles also have specializations. Specializations are exclusive choices, a vehicle can't have both a high-performance engine and an economic engine.



Q&A
Does this mod work with Combat Extended?
Yes! The mod is patched on my end, make sure you load this mod *after* Combat Extended.
For upgrades that add weapons, I added hyperlinks for the relevant ammosets to the vehicles.

Does this mod work with other mods that add upgrades to Tier 3 vehicles?
This mod is compatible with VVE - Secondary Weapons, thanks to a patch on their end!

For other upgrade mods - probably not, due to how the upgrade tree system works. Mod authors are free to patch their mods to work with mine, though!

The original Vanilla Vehicles Expanded series is published by Oskar Potocki. No assets from that mod were used in the development of this mod.

Update, reloading the save fixed the issue, now Cherokee is back at 2 pilot 33 passengers

I think I'm having some issues with this mod. The Marshall won't upgrade, my Louie has 3 pilot seats and 15 passenger seats, and my Cherokee can only load one pilot but 32 pass with the passenger conversion. I have RimThunder installed too, not sure what the issue is.

Probably my modlist, but i set the vehicles to upgrade and then no one will work on it. anyone else having a similar issue?

I just tested out the Ground support package for the Louie, but trying to use the nose-mounted weapon on an enemy didn't work. I had loaded steel and reloaded it, and it was tracking the enemy while expending ammo, but no audio or visuals were displayed for the firing, nor did it do any damage.

The mod is loaded after CE, and I have no other mods that would conflict with either weapons in general or vehicle framework.

Any ideas what could be causing it if not that? :winter2019sadsnowman:

But why can't my plane work or order the colonizers to build it when I upgrade it, and the construction plane also takes a detour?

Didn't see it stated anywhere to do otherwise, and i figured that the problem was this in particular.
