Description
The most OFFENSIVE Byzantine Overhaul mod for 1212AD you'll ever have the glory of playing!

For all your dreams of restoring the True and Righteous - Empire of the Romans!

*WARNING* This mod requires all of Earl's Infantry Overhauls in the load order shown in the Mod Requirements section (this mod at the top)!

Otherwise, this mod has some Ahistorical bits ESPECIALLY with Earl's Overhauls. I did my best to stick to the history that is present as well as the Trends that would've continued should the Roman Empire survive past 1453, specifically in regards to the Turkish Populations migrating into Anatolia.

Features:

Borrowed Nomadic Tribal buildings to allow for replenishment of Turkic Tribal Units.

Recruitable ALL TIERS of Kataphractoi Toxotes and Kataphractoi Hippotoxotes for the Empire of Nicaea.

+ Recruitable from all Military Settlement Centers from Castle onwards, all tribal buildings, and Standard Military
Recruitment grounds.

+ Recruits from TRIBAL Population.

Changed recruitement method for Nicaean Varangian Guards.

+ Tiers 1 and 2 require Foreigner Camp to recruit. Tier 3 requires Standard Military Camp.

Fixed issues with the Roman Rump States:

+ All Koursores and Megaloallagitai Units now use Cavalry Officers rather than Infantry Officers.
* There is an issue where trying to fix this in the non-earl mod is crashing the game, so this only applies to this
version of the mod.

New reskins for almost all T3 (and some T2) Units for Nicaea!

Units included but not limited to:

- Paramonai

- Varangian Guard

- All Allagia Units

- Vigla

- Stratiotes, Cavalarii, and Hippoparamonai

- Hippotoxotes

- Officers

- And MORE!

- (None of the non-native Units received Reskins. That includes Cretan Guard, Mourtatoi Guard, Hippotourkopols, Massagetoi, and Scythikoi. This may change in the future.)

VERSION WITH EARL'S OVERHAUL: This Mod has extra mechanics related to the Spearmen of Nicaea as well as adding an additional expensive gunner unit to the T3 roster.

- Changed How the Vigla work. T1 Vigla are changed to Heavy Spearmen. Every technological upgrade, the stats of
the Vigla decrease until you get to T3 where the Vigla are Light Spearmen.

- T1 Scoutatoi Spearmen have been renamed to simply "Scoutatoi" and are made into Heavy Pikemen. This is to
reflect Imperial Doctrine of using long spears with two hands in formation fighting. T2 Megaloallagitai Spearmen
have also been changed to Medium Pikemen and are renamed to "Megaloallagitai Doryphoroi"

- T3 Megalloallagitai Spearmen renamed to "Megaloallagitai Doryphoroi". Changed from simply being Heavy
Spearmen to Pavisier Spearmen

- Added a T2 Gunner Unit in the form of expensive Genoese Mercenaries: "Shiopettari Romani". I'm certain it can
be recruited, but if it cannot, I'm assuming its hardcoded to not be recruitable due to how gunpoweder recruitment
works in 1212. If not, enjoy it in custom battles!

@sebo99a Currently, only Nicaea is within this mod’s scope. I would love to work on one for Epirus and Trebizond one day, but for now Nicaea is my baby.

@StatedSnake1 Menaulatoi Shields have always been a little off from the actual arm. I’ll fix it up one day as It’s been bothering me ever since I started playing 1212.

Hey, just a heads up! The T2 Menavlatoi shields are far off from the actual arm of the model, making appear that they are floating.
