Description
MDH CAS is a mod, created by Moerderhoschi for Arma 3. You are able to call in an CAS Strike.

HOW THE ADDON WORKS?
The addon automatically add an Actionmenu entry to call in the CAS Strike.
The CAS plane always targets the nearest threat to player outside the configured minDistance.
If the CAS plane carries AGM missiles it will use 2 of those for AA / Tanks / Wheels in this order.

IS THE ADDON MP COMPATIBLE?
Yes, call it and use it like in SP.

HOW TO CHANGE THE CAS PLANE?
CAS Plane can now be changed in editor VR World, see new Video for details.



HOW TO CHANGE MOD OPTIONS?
you can change some settings in the Moddescription tab

- increased BROKEN ARROW Mode CAS Plane interval time to 30 sec
- optimized target selection (small fix)

CAS call in action menue only with specific item:
- mdhCASModNeededItemToCall= "B_UavTerminal"

CAS call in action menue entry only on specific object(use unit variable name or unit init):

- mdhCASModCallerObj3
- mdhCASModCallerObj4
- mdhCASModCallerObj5
(or if you want that only one specific player with the variable name p1 get the action)

I was on vacation but now I'm back.

@Megademon57 thank you for your clear bugreport. I will fix this issue with the next update.

@Stolt CAS with nukes, sounds great 😃. You can't change the CAS plane speed, I need to test if to make this an setting would be a smart idea.

@sir.ghostington yes & no. You can't use the actionmenu entry while controlling a drone but you can call CAS on the map in the Mod description tab.

Great mod, one of the bests, but...

I found a problem, when you load a game the CAS doesn't work. It says that the "mdhfncCASWeapons not found". If you can fix this I would be very gratefull.

Hey man, I took a break from arma but now I'm back and I'm still loving this mod! Thanks for making the rolling cas and broken arrow feature!

Just wondering, what is the speed of the aircraft? Is it possible to customize the speed to (e.g. have aircraft got at 400, 600, 750 or 900 or 1000 kmph)?

Or would that make it too difficult for the aircraft to lock on in time to launch missiles/drop bombs accurately?

Ill try what you said. It happened to me using the usaf a10 and firewill f15 ex 2 but I'll test what you said and let you know

@commando008 can't reproduce your lags, tested with 50 USAF Fighters and no lag for me. you can try to set the option "Set CAS actionmenu entry for save plane" to deactivate.

@John Democracy if you called CAS and want to abort it, after calling set the options
"Set behaviour when no red smoke found" = abort CAS
"Set CAS call mode" = direct at red smoke
"Set CAS arrival time in sec" = 15
then it should abort in a few seconds. after that set the options back to your needs.

can confirm for me at least its causing lag on modded aircraft like USAF Fighters, and Firewills. any solution to fix this issue, it stops having lag and stutters when i remove the mod. id like to use this mod but the lag for me and my friends is too much

seems to be causing bad lag when standing next to a modded plane, i think its because the plane is being used as a cas option
