Description

The main innovation of the mod is the Spiderfolk xenotype, from the planet Obsidia.
Spiderfolk are the result of advanced genetic experiments by the Crimson Arachna Cult, building on their success in replicating divine-like traits. Designed as living vessels of their god’s image, Spiderfolk were created through spliced genomes and arcane bio-alchemy. Each one is a twisted miracle—part flesh, part thread, and fully devoted to the Cult's vision of evolution.
  • Spiderfolk - have spider-like lower bodies of varying types, granting unique resistances and enhancing mobility and manipulation. They can secrete a neurotoxin through a venom gland and produce sticky webs used to create explosive traps that stun and slow enemies. They are nocturnal, extremely aggressive, and psychically deaf. Despite being covered in fur, they are vulnerable to extreme heat and cold. Each Spiderfolk is also born with an innate affinity for a random skill, making them unpredictable but potentially versatile.

A: Mod only supports the versions stated in the description.

A: Yes, in terms of content, the mod is complete. But support for the mod continues.

Q: Is this mod save game compatible?
A: Maybe. But due to the fact that the mod introduces a new xenotypes and genes, I still recommend using the mod with new saves.

alright, i hate to say it, but the art definitely needs work. the lack of a middle body part between the thorax and main pawn body looks uncanny as hell, and only 2 legs looks super awkward

@Fibre🌹 Thanks. No new xenotypes or factions planned in the next couple months, but that might change if RimWorld v1.6 and new DLC drops.

Will there be more factions or xenotypes to come? At this point I'm sort of addicted to the whole Obsidia Empire as a whole
