Description

The main innovation of the mod is the Amalgama xenotypes, from the planet Obsidia.
Dr. Alexander Isaacs, a former scientist of the Obsidia Empire, now operates on the fringes of reality as a renegade architect of evolution. Driven by an insatiable hunger for perfection, he hunts and harvests diverse life forms, merging organic matter with cutting-edge technology in nightmarish experiments. His creations are amalgamated life forms where biology and machinery intertwine, each iteration pushing the limits of science and sanity.

Q: Is this mod CE compatible?
A: Just like the core mod - Obsidia Expansion.

Q: Will this mod work on 1.0, 1.1 or another game version?
A: Mod only supports the versions stated in the description.

Q: Is this a completed mod?
A: Yes, in terms of content, the mod is complete. But support for the mod continues.

Q: Is this mod save game compatible?
A: Maybe. But due to the fact that the mod introduces a new xenotypes and genes, I still recommend using the mod with new saves.

Q: The description says this mod adds X xenotypes. Will I get access to all added xenotypes if I install this mod and only the listed required mods?
A: No. You'll get just one xenotype with the required mods. Each of the others needs a specific Obsidia Expansion Xenotype mod to be available, since they depend on genes from those mods.

@Hashlin Great question - thanks for asking!
The number of xenotypes listed in the mod description is the total added by this mod. However, the "required mods" section shows the minimum needed just to get it running.

If you only use the required mods, you’ll get access to just one new xenotype. Each of the others relies on specific mods because they use genes from those mods — this helps avoid duplicate content and lets players pick only the xenotypes they're interested in.

So, if you want to unlock all of Dr. Alexander Isaacs’ creations, you’ll need the full set of Obsidia Expansion Xenotype mods.

I have a question. It says at the bottom of this mod that it adds 10 new xenotypes, but then all the others besides the top one say it needs another mod. So does this mod add all the ones listed here, or just the first one? These xenotypes sound interesting so I want to make sure I'm adding everything I need
