Description
This mod is an alteration of Crab Knight's Defensive Start mod, and gives each player a guardian statue to protect against early rushes and independents, while also providing a small buff of +10 gold and +2 trade while alive to ease the earlygame pain. Credits to Crab Knight and Faheelee.

This mod is based on the following mod;

Features;

This mod creates a buffed guardian statue for every faction and player that is also a commander to stop early losses from rushes, independents, and from unlucky ambushes on commanders.

In addition, the statue also provides a +10 to gold, and +2 to trade, to allow for a slightly more even start and allowing for quicker purchases of starting scouting forces without giving too much of a buff.

This should work for every faction, modded or unmodded, and for every player.

Addons

- I ended up making a Co-Op Addon for this mad, it is not required, but is there for people who would like to donate units and resources to their allies.

oh my god I was just thinking about a mod like this. AIs keep dieing to independents, this'll help a lot. Thank you.

It would be nice if you could make the guardian statue amphibious (so it can be played with the water-based factions (that start with a water capital)). Anyways thank you for the Mod. :steamthumbsup:

I currently have it unlisted until I get an Okay or a No from the PVE People on borrowing some code.

I always use this mod in a Co-Op setting with my friends, but I am making an addon that takes the Unit and Resource Donation from the PVE_Architect mod and adds it as rituals to the Citadel Guardian so I can trade unwanted resources and extra units with my friend.

I honestly thought this was a coop release, me and a friend use it every time so far; only thing that keeps the AI from giving up turn 2.

yes, while I had planned on changing the name to accommodate addons (I am making a Co-Op addon to use with my friends) It will work the same to just keep the name as it was.

I will not be changing the name of the mod or file. So games previously using this mod should work again.
