Description
Small mod that makes defense platforms and ion cannons disable instead of being destroyed. The defenses reenable at the end of the month if there are no enemy fleets in the system. The defenses will receive a 3 year fire rate and hull debuff when reenabled that can stack multiple times.

Does this work with mods that add new defense platforms or increase the max level of a starbase?

@youtubitz, currently stellaris is buggy with ships disabling. In order for ships to disable they have to disable at a health amount above zero (this mod for example disables at 0.6 hp). To make them randomly disable would require even more event scripting which will have a performance impact.

No idea how hard it would be to implement but maybe there could be an optional system where platforms have a chance to be disabled before hitting zero health like how ships have a chance to warp away if damaged before hitting zero health.
And if they do hit zero they are destroyed, it could be a good balance maybe
