Description

Somewhere in "Hard Rain" campaign during a journey back to Virgil's boat, the rain poured really hard with continuous thunderclaps. Survivors took shelter in one of empty houses while defending from zombies. Suddenly, one of thunderclaps hit the house they're taking shelter in. Strangely enough, the thunderclap just passed through the roof straight to the kitchen. When survivors went to see what happened in the kitchen, they saw a man with an old-fashioned knight armor holding a frying pan with some sliced meat on it. He looked puzzled & looked around until he got shocked seeing some zombies running at him.
????: "Oh F**K...!!"
Nick: "I like this man. That's the right way for a man to shout..."

He put the meat on a plate in a hurry & then swung his frying pan. A lightning bolt suddenly showed up on his frying pan & blasted the zombies to pieces.
Nick: "Oh sh*t...!! Is he Zeus?"
????: "Who's messing with me this time with this prank?! Loki again...?!"
Ellis: "Probably not, as he mentioned Loki... But he's also a cool god...!"

After calming down, the man introduced himself that he's Thor, a thunder god. Ellis immediately explained the situations with much excitement & expectation, including the culprit behind the transmigration of people from other universes to their world, a mischievous god named "Black Liege". Then Thor decided to head to the source of the virus outbreak to deal with strong zombies. Before he left, Ellis asked him to teach how to unleash such lightning bolt.
Thor: "You need to be worthy enough to handle Lightning Bolt."
Ellis: "How to do that?"
Thor: "Mjolnir is too heavy for you. Get a frying pan, & I'll show you the way."

& so with Thor's blessing & teaching, survivors could unleash lightning bolt by cooking their bullets on the frying pan.

That's for the background story for fun :D . After baseball bat got its special ability, now it's time for frying pan. Why frying pan? Because I got a Mjolnir, Thor's hammer skin mod that replaces frying pan, & it looked fun swing that Mjolnir to unleash a lightning bolt :D .

Q: "Is this the same as the lightning ability on Celestial Melee Weapons mod?"

A: "No, it's different. That mod uses Pipe Shotgun mod by Rectus as the template to trigger lighning in medium range, while this mod uses a distorted laser to create the lightning, & the range can be adjusted via cfg file."

List of features available on "thor's frying pan.txt" cfg file:

Lightning User: Which type of survivor can use Lightning Bolt (bots only/ players only/ all). For bots, they will always use it even with normal attack with melee.
Lightning Damage: How much the damage of the Lightning Bolt is.
Lightning Range: How far the Lightning Bolt range is. Min value= 50, max= no limit.
Lightning Ammo: Primary gun ammo consumption in every 0.2 second when using Lightning Bolt. Min value= 0 (no ammo consumption), max= no limit.
Lightning Extra Effect: An extra effect will be triggered when it hits zombies. The value affects the types of the effect.
Burning Lightning: When enabled, the Lightning Bolt will burn zombies.
Lightning Color: The color of Lightning Bolt in RGB. Follow the format example on the cfg file to write the color correctly to avoid unwanted bugs.

Mechanisms of "Thor's Frying Pan":

Make sure that you have a primary gun & at least 1 reserve ammo.
When holding a frying pan, hold "USE (E) + FIRE" to unleash Lightning Bolt.
Lightning Bolt will be active as long as you hold E + FIRE, & cancelled when you release the combo keys.
Lightning Bolt consumes reserve ammo every 0.2 second. This is controlled by "Lightning Ammo" feature.
Lightning Bolt can be used on the ladder. So, you can sting some zombies' a*ses with Lightning Bolt if they get in your way during climbing :D .
Lightning Bolt can be used when incapped (if you use a mod that allows using melee during incap).
Lightning Bolt can be used when caught by special infected, if you're caught/ pinned while holding frying pan.
Lightning Bolt can pierce riot zombie's armor.
Lightning Bolt can damage objects.
As Lightning Bolt can damage objects, it can also damage custom enemies/ bosses in some custom campaign.

So, are you worthy enough to hold Mjolnir Frying Pan...? :D

@Leuko , that may also require weapon animation on m16 shoving too, & that would be more complicated. If it's about a throwing knife vscript mod, there's this one that you can try: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3466890918
