Missile Armed Hydrogen Variant Here!

The F-145/A "Atlatl" Light Air Superiority Fighter is the first dedicated atmospheric air-superiority fighter in the Ikuyo Aerospace line. Created to ease logistical burdens coming from running an atmospheric fleet of F-121/A hydrogen-fighters, the Atlatl uses powerful electric ducted fans for VTOL capabilities and afterburning turbofans for exceptional maneuverability. Now widely proliferated owing to its low cost, powerful armament and ease of manufacture, Ikuyo Aerospace is offering you a limited chance to acquire your own Atlatl today suitable for tasks ranging from rogue drone defense to fleet combat. Fly yours today!

Armament
  • 6x 25mm Rotary Autocannons: All hardpoints conveyered and readily converted to accept auto cannons, railguns, assault cannons or rockets.
  • 1x 25mm PDC Turret: Comes with automatic target locking and defensive AI.

Features
  • All Planets: Capable of flying on all atmospheric planets up to 2G.
  • Smart Systems: Featuring advanced defensive AI, automatic recharge and autopilot systems and additional computers for user customization, the F-145/A drastically reduces pilot workload.
  • Low Cost, Low Risk: The F-145/A was designed foremost to be cheap and nigh expendable.
  • Survivable Design: Featuring auxiliary batteries, thrusters, and self-repair projectors, the F-145/A is capable of surviving hits most snub-fighters could not.
  • Survival Ready: Fully plumbed and survival ready. Printable by virtually any welder array, including those in the previous line of Ikuyo Aerospace corvettes, destroyers and frigates.

Special Credits and Notes
The F-145/A is my first attempt at a dedicated atmospheric fighter. I'm pretty happy with it and its a definite improvement over trying to run the F-121/A in early game for drone defense. It's a little less versatile than the F-121 and a little hard to make interesting variants, but I'll probably try regardless. This build took tremendous inspiration from the VME Rota by Taidyr and the Chimera Class Fighter by Ttnarg150. Please check them out!
