Camera controls are enabled by holding ALT (or the +walk key)

Alt + scroll wheel will zoom the camera in/out
Alt + Ctrl will enable Shiftlock (this is set to ctrl instead of shift because alt+shift is the windows shortcut for keyboard languages)

You can configure the camera in the tool menu options under "AC stuff"


This addon fixes the multiplayer of the roblox style camera and some other things:
- Multiplayer
- Customizable thirdperson camera offsets
- Jumping while standing in place doesnt turn character
- Mouse Invert
- Turn towards key input, not position difference
- Classic camera off by default
- Camera zoom doesnt reset on respawn
- Misc fixes

Likely another mod, I was playing with another friend (and we have significantly less addons than my usual friends) and the issue wasn't present, appreciate the fast response!

is it only when you move the camera around? this a know limitation sadly...
if not that, i had just installed PAC3 and enable net_fakelag net_fakejitter and net_fakeloss in a local multiplayer server.
nothing unusual happened in this case for me, maybe it might be another mod that you have (unless you mean the known limitation).

This is probably a Pac3 issue but whenever playing in multiplayer and using the camera it tends to lag behind my character for some reason, like-

My model will essentially outrun the camera and stutter like crazy, this is only present in Multiplayer, is there any way to potentially fix this?

you have to HOLD alt and then while you do that, scroll the mouse wheel out or in like in roblox

The camera snaps were because shiftlockcentertarget were enabled, i made it so that shiftlockcentertarget no longer affects the non-shiftlock camera (i tried it out as a test, and left it because i thought shiftlockcentertarget was disabled by default but its enabled) so your camera should behave better now. Also dont feel bad for asking :3!!!! I love it when people tell me when there are things to improve/fix with the addon!

if any of the ofs commands are changed then the camera will snap hard when the compensating trace suddenly jumps from close to distant objects and vice versa. I wanted to ask you whether it's possible for all camera alterations to lerp, that would automatically fix this issue;
I don't suppose the way you were forced to the wall you were moving along with the side of your body, not being able to run head first into a wall basically, can make a comeback with your current modifications? Nevermind me if I don't know what I'm talking about. I tried to edit parts of the original a couple of days ago (before I found out about your edit here) and I can safely say that I can't understand a lot of CalcView stuff having never worked with it

This is huge, so weighty it's unbelievable... Seriously, adjusted these a bit and it feels like TLOU or something
My bad on the mouse smoothing, I got it all mixed up because of some other thirdperson addon I had installed alongside for testing
