if not that, i had just installed PAC3 and enable net_fakelag net_fakejitter and net_fakeloss in a local multiplayer server.
nothing unusual happened in this case for me, maybe it might be another mod that you have (unless you mean the known limitation).
My model will essentially outrun the camera and stutter like crazy, this is only present in Multiplayer, is there any way to potentially fix this?
i pressed alt and nothing happends
I don't suppose the way you were forced to the wall you were moving along with the side of your body, not being able to run head first into a wall basically, can make a comeback with your current modifications? Nevermind me if I don't know what I'm talking about. I tried to edit parts of the original a couple of days ago (before I found out about your edit here) and I can safely say that I can't understand a lot of CalcView stuff having never worked with it
My bad on the mouse smoothing, I got it all mixed up because of some other thirdperson addon I had installed alongside for testing
I kinda feel bad asking anything else of you, this thing's in so much better state than it was before you took matter into your own hands. A couple of things I noticed though:
If you want it to be exactly like in the original addon change:
roblox_cam_face_velocity to 1
roblox_cam_face_speed to 1
And for supporting mouse filters, they didnt work in the original addon aswell, and if they should work with this addon, it has to be programmed in by them. I changed the addon to allow changes to the camera from other addons, so it should at least be possible for other addons to add onto this camera now.
I just noticed that new turning is super snappy, while in the original it was very and felt kinda like turning inertia in modern thirdperson triple As (it was probably the whole point of that odd system). Plus mouse filters no longer work (GM++/Smooth Mouse Look)
It's the only real character-relative thirdperson mod on the entire Workshop, and camera being stuck behind the back is limiting it's pOteNtIaL
