The Alos Directive emerged in the final days of the Fairy Empire’s golden age - founded not in rebellion, but in grim necessity. As the Empire spiraled into excess, mysticism, and chaos, the Alos broke away, vowing to preserve order, discipline, and survival by any means necessary. What began as a defensive doctrine became a civilization forged in isolation and steel.

Their ships are monuments to function over beauty: dark, angular warforms of alloy and reactor light. There are no flowing curves, no decorative arcs - only fortified hulls, blade-like edges, and radiant armor bands that pulse with silent precision. Where Fairy ships inspire awe, Alos vessels instill caution.

Internally, the Alos society operates like a perfected machine. Hierarchy is sacred, protocol is law, and emotion is suppressed beneath duty. Some say the Directive retains echoes of the Empire’s ancient ideals - just distilled, weaponized, and purged of weakness. Others believe they’ve become something entirely different: cold architects of galactic equilibrium, watching from the void with unblinking judgment.

To the wider galaxy, the Alos are ghosts from a fractured past - returning now with fleets of obsidian and light, not to rebuild, but to impose structure upon the stars. Whether saviors, enforcers, or executioners... none can say. But when their ships arrive, the message is clear: order has returned.

This patch has been tested with Stellaris version 4.0.15, but it should remain compatible with past and future versions. I will continue to monitor compatibility.

1. Is it playable without NSC3 installed?
-> Yes it should. You just wouldnt have new NSC3 Ships. Means a smaller roaster.
