LVC-4E Neurospaston

A small grid drone inspired by Homeworld 3 strike craft

The LVC-4E Neurospastos is the drone variant of the LVC-4D Excubitor. The Neurospaston can perform the roles of a support wingman, patrol craft or strike element. It can operate autonomously or be remotely controlled.

The LVC-4E is not as maneuverable and armored as the LVC-4D, and has less endurance. These compromises were made to reduce production costs, as this craft is expected to be more attritable than the manned variant. Nonetheless, firepower is enhanced by the addition of an autocannon turret.

If you print this in survival, either build it off a conveyor attached to the H2 tank, or place an auxiliary H2/O2 gen at the top of the H2 tank. This way you'll have fuel to dock to a station/mothership. The docking manager will automatically handle refueling and recharging.

Important: only basic functions are implemented out of the box. The user is expected to complete the configuration of the drone, including navigation references, custom commands and docking sequence and actions. There are spaces for extra equipment under the corrugated armor panels (1 each side and 1 top front).
