IllusoryArmor

Description
Adds an Illusory Armor feat which unlocks recipes for crafting a set of invisible armor at a thaumaturgy bench.

The feat is available in the Sorcery tab, requires knowledge of Basic Sorcery, and costs 3 knowledge points.

The armor pieces themselves provide no protection and are very low-durability. It's just meant to be used as a lore-friendly way of hiding other pieces of armor using the thaumaturgy bench.

Load order should not matter and there should be no conflicts with other mods.

To Quote the MA;

Hello Rev Elevenclaw,

The mod is basically a set of craftable armor pieces that have no actual mesh and hide no body parts. It should not conflict with any other mods that add accessories, and should be compatible with any body mods as well."

@Tefias It doesn't seem to matter which body you're using. The armor is invisible, so it can't be seen if it fits or not. I'm using Angie's Passion body, and it works perfectly.

To make it perfect, make illusory bottom and top of "Buttermilk and Underbody". ´ ; ) then you take my points!! ´ :D

Rev Elevenclaw- I used Improved thralls QOL instead of IQOL. much better control system. also if you use TOT. you load them in the accessory option, and you can use the tool to move them up or down if you use the tools in the top window you can select that item and attatch it to the different range of body parts manually. so it will move with those body parts.

Anyway, I hope the Immersive Armor modders can figure something out, as I really enjoy that mods stuff. But it's lame that it messes with other mods I like to use. Thanks for all that you've done :-)

I appreciate you looking into it. Unfortunately, my whole game is kinda built on Improved Quality of Life mod. So Tot-Custom is not an option for me. This also most likely is why the Commando mod has the same problem for me. Just the nipple jewelry, get hidden when using those mods armors too. Oddly no other accessories are affected with either mod. I do have other mods that add piercings as well. And their piercings are also hidden. The only ones that always work are from Exiles Extreme. I think Grim Production ones also show. But they are for the Wonderbody, and therefore do not line up right with the vanilla body. That is expected behavior though, and I have to use the top and bottom armor pieces to compensate for the difference. It works out, but not a solution for anything here. Just thought to mention the knowledge of it.

I was able to reach out to the Immersive Armor team and a member was able to confirm Rev Elevenclaw's issue. The underlying cause is actually expected behavior from the Accessory Wardrobe mod that Immersive Armor uses, which is mean to hide certain accessories when wearing armor, so it's not an issue on their end that they would address. He suggested a few possibilities including using Tot-Custom which, apparently, should enable when an accessory should be visible. I've no details on that and have yet to try it, so others' mileage may vary.

Other possibilities occur to me but I would have to research and test them and they have every possibility of becoming... messy. I can't promise anything at this point but if I end up figuring something decent out then I'll post an update here.

Alright, I was able to replicate what you are seeing.

To clarify, I use WaffleButter's Universal Aesthetics Solution for my body mod. On the player character I found no issue: I was able to use Immersive Armor's nipple pasties accessories and have them show up whether using my Illusory Chestpiece or a transmorgrified chestpiece (including voidforged dragon armor you referenced) without issue using every body mesh that WUAS allows you to select.

It's on thralls that I saw the issue: You can use my Illusory Chestpiece and they'll show up, but if you use a transmorgrified chestpiece they disappear for some reason. I can only speculate that, perhaps, Immersive Armor has some logic implemented which is determined to hide certain accessories based on equipped armor, regardless of its transmorgrified state.

I'll see if I can get in touch with Cookie | Das Keks and see if I can confirm this and maybe arrive at a solution...
