Sorry I took long to respond. I meant to test it before the update but I was away. But I just tested it and the tanks don't take damage from normal props and breakable props. So yes I guess I can say that it works just fine.
even with less addons, the x64 branch can have better performance (which is least concern for me since I was gifted a very fast PC I normally couldn't afford) but most importantly, is less likely to crash.
Aside from that do the tanks take damage from crashing into objects? im currently fixing that (and have already did, i just need to update) so tanks no longer take damage from crashing into physics props (for props that don't explode when broken), tho it does have a bad side effect of tanks no longer taking damage from crashing into eachother or crashing into walls for that matter. Which is a sacrifice im willing to make so i can have fun plowing through a buncha breakable props.
I just did some testing and came to a conclusion that this is an issue only on my end. I play garrys mod on the x64 chromium beta branch and since it's used as a dev test branch, its very unstable and therefore leading to some addons breaking on it, and this addon might be one of them. I am assuming that since you're not experiencing the issue must mean that you're on the normal branch, right? If so, then I would say there's no need to update it, as this is an issue only on my end. All I need to do is switch to the normal branch and the issue will be gone.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Odd, the tank functions and moves well on my end, a reason i have that set to a high torque is to make it accelerate quickly like how it does in the game. but i'll get it down to 700 to see if that fixes the issue as you suggested next update.
I'm aware that simfphys vehicles gives you the ability to change their stats but the Hovertanks default torque set to 950 pretty much breaks the tank. Pressing forward will turn the tank into a Bayblade. The suggestion is do you think you can change the Hovertanks default torque to 700 or lower? 700 or lower seems to fix the issue. This issue could confuse some people on why the tank is acting like that and have no clue on how to fix it.
