Greatly improved path finding all around the map especially at the entrenched areas. Let me know if its it better.

Reinforcements and supplies have arrived! Our Russian engineers have supplied us with new 45mm naval cannons all around our defensive positions and have repaired one of our outposts overlooking the crossing into the valley. Additionally they have unloaded many ammunition crates for you to utilise. Farewell Comrade.

More Path finding Fixes and small terrain improvements.

Increased player count from 4v4 to 8v8... Goodbye Frames, Hello Slideshows! Yeah be careful when cranking max bots on hardest difficulties.

This is my first ever map so don't be too harsh. You may experience a few stutters at the start or while traversing the map for the first time. Also i HIGHLY RECOMMEND using the spawn menu mod to create your own custom defences with more variety and customisation in a more timely manner to cater to your gameplay style!

Total build time: around 70 hours (although some of those hours were spent learning the editor and a lot of them were spent revamping my earlier builds on it. i reckon i could've done it in 25-35 hours.

I plan on making more maps and they will be better detailed especially once i get DLCs to have way more variety and assets. i will post my next map within the next 2 months as long as im still playing the game and have free time.

The idea for my next map is a massive German defensive position designed to protect Hitler as the end of the war is brought to his doorstep.

The map will be snow covered and it will be called: The last Reich

HOW TO ADD spawn menu/spawn menu for mace. both menus use the same steps and line of code!

Step 1. Copy this line of code: (include "/map/cheat/cheat.mi")

Step 2. Locate my map folder by following this path: Program files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content (you may see one or many different numbered folders here and in the next folder, in my case the GoH folder is Numbered 400750 but it may be different for you so look through them if that's the case) after opening one of them you will find more numbered folders simply browse each one till you find the one that leads to my map. in one of these you should find this path: resource > map > multi > 4v4_ambushed. yay you made it!

Step 3. Refer to the last 4 images on this mod page for reference. Open the highlighted file in notepad, hit enter at the start of the second line of text to space it out and in its place copy and paste the text from STEP 1 and save the file! All done.

You can utilise spawn menu on my map now and this tutorial goes for ANY custom map to be compatible with spawn menu by Rosemi (NOTE IF YOU WANT TO OPEN MY MAP IN THE EDITOR YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THIS LINE OF TEXT AS IT CAUSES INSTANT CRASHES ON ANY MAP OPENED IN THE EDITOR at least for me it does)

@Vulf Glad to see you enjoying the map! Unfortunately the friendly AI in the last stand mode is programmed to all go to the actual point nothing i can do about that sorry. maybe a frontlines version of the map would solve that but im currently preoccupied with my next map. once i finish and release it i may add a frontlines version here which should also have a better gameplay flow with how the map is designed. My next map is taking much longer than i had hoped due to it being 3x the size of this one but progress is good and should be out within a month.

Also noticed the friendly AI doesn't help out? They just stay at the furthermost point instead of going to the front

oh damn, yea im no map creator myself but i know the feeling of the time it takes to make a map with limited skills and get everything in detail or even stable and a lot of testing have to be done, but keep up the good work though :steamthumbsup:

@AL3ST0R i wish i was able to drop a new map daily but building a detailed map takes time unfortunately. I have the general layout of my next map done and its set on the coast of italy with a massive German superfortress guarding a coastal airfield. i will hopefully have it out in 2 weeks but at the lastest it should be 4 weeks as the map is around 60% bigger than this one and will have a last stand and frontlines version. the map in my description will be the 3rd map i plan on making.
