Description
This patch makes COLA's STREGA 2.X ships compatible with NSC3 and updates it to 4.0+

Lore & Description


No records exist of where the STREGA came from - only that they were not there, and then they were. Neither entirely synthetic nor truly organic, STREGA are whispered to be the result of a lost experiment, a failed ascension, or perhaps a species that abandoned the concept of identity altogether. They speak rarely, if at all. When they do, their voices are filtered through layers of distortion, and their messages are more omen than statement.

Their fleets arrive without warning, slipping past sensors and warping gravity with their silent presence. Cloaked in blackened alloys and fueled by violet-core singularities, STREGA ships are not built - they are grown, or perhaps summoned. Their technology is incompatible with known physics, and their presence seems to bend reality around them, as though they exist slightly out of phase with the rest of the galaxy.

Some believe the STREGA are hunters of anomalies - drawn to instability like scavengers to carrion. Others claim they are the anomaly itself: a silent tide that swells at the edge of collapse. Empires that encounter them rarely survive the second meeting.

The true purpose of the STREGA remains unknowable. They do not conquer, they do not negotiate, and they do not claim territory. What they do is act - precisely, surgically, and without hesitation - when something in the galaxy becomes... wrong. Their motives are not moral. They are correction. Or perhaps... deletion.

To see a STREGA ship is to know the clock has already started ticking.

-> fixed wrong file
-> added habitat
-> added Colossus and Juggernaut.
-> added proper english description in shipsetselection
-> removed very old NSC2 leftovers
-> removed basgame assets beeing stuck in some ships
-> removed Supportship of NSC2 and added Explorationship of NSC3
-> removed compatiblitly files with very old mods

Patch included for 4.0+. STREGA ships are shown as mechanical

Issues still happening
-> all weapons fire from the mid of the ship. Original mod has no locators for that
-> main habitat modul has black skin, i still try to find out why, since the texture is usual working.

Important:
No original mod needed. To make it work i had to use the entire file with all assets.

Please report any issues you encounter, and I will do my best to fix them as quickly as possible. This patch has been tested with Stellaris version 4.0.21, but it should remain compatible with past and future versions. I will continue to monitor compatibility.

FAQ
1. Is it playable without NSC3 installed?
-> Yes it should. You just wouldnt have new NSC3 Ships. Means a smaller roaster. And not all ships shown on the pictures
