100% ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE FOR: RAIDOU Remastered
By Menthol Reward and 1 collaborators
This is a guide on getting every achievements as concise as possible. I do not know everything nor do I claim to know everything, if you know or find a way to get an achievement more effectively (that isn't cheating) feel free to leave it in the comments! If the community and/or I like it enough I will add it to the guide alongside some proper crediting!

Achievement Information
Total achievements: 42, None require online services.
ETA to achievement completion: roughly 35-40 hours on avg (if doing 2 playthroughs).
Minimum number of passes for 100%: 2 playthroughs, one as a normal run, and another in New Game +
Glitchy achievements: None.
Missable Achievements: 1 achievement is missable, but can be done with a prior save or in NG+.
Achievements with difficulty levels:1 achievement requires you to beat it in the hardest difficulty, but it can be cheesed with a oversight.
Required DLCs for 100% achievements: DLC help you and do not harm you from 100%ing the game.

Other information:

I can really on recommend this game to megaten fans. The combat is barebones and kinda weak, but the story is good IF you vibe with it.
Semi-Important notice:
Honestly I don't have much to say other than some smaller QoL mods I can mostly soft recommend. This isn't the most faithful port of a game, but it's a acceptable one.

The only mod I can really recommend is the hide map marker objectives. I am surprised it wasn't an option in the menus because the markers kinda tanks the game play a bit.
Hide Map Objectives [Game Banana] [gamebanana.com]

The rest are more for slight/small looks.

What DLC should I get?

Until further notice, I cannot in good faith fully recommend the Guest Demons Pack (shown below). For it might invalidate the Unbound Summoner achievement nor do I know the requirements to obtain these demons.. I do not want to get this 2012-era type of dlc at all to test any of it. If anyone is willing to test it to see if this will affect the achievement, please let me know!

Update: Guest Demons Pack works just fine with Unbound Summoner achievement.

The following six demons are included in Guest Demons Pack:
  • Pyro Order: Fionn mac Cumhaill;
  • Frost Order: Artemis;
  • Volt Order: Zeus;
  • Wind Order: Huang Long;
  • Fury Order: Gozuki;
  • Fury Order: Mezuki.
All of them can be bought for 0 yen (I guess Victor has time for charity) once you unlock Devil Chart.

I recommend against the A Special Briefing (shown below) pack. It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid, because we know the culprit is obviously Nanako Dojima.

https://steamhost.cn/app/2486844/RAIDOU_Remastered_The_Mystery_of_the_Soulless_Army__A_Special_Briefing/?curator_clanid=45558630
The rest of the DLC will help you more than harm you. But frankly, I cannot and will not support this type of DLC financially, because it should've been in the base game.

https://steamhost.cn/app/2486843/RAIDOU_Remastered_The_Mystery_of_the_Soulless_Army__Demonic_Designations_Summoner_Titles/
This DLC should not affect the Worldly Summoner achievement.

Kuzunoha Village Trainings (Shown below) is useful-to-have DLC. It is an additional downloadable content featuring a set of three trainings designed for players who wish to "save time" when grinding for EXP, in-game currency, and stat increases.
  1. Kuzunoha Village Training: Power (Training Hall 1). You can obtain Thin and Thick Grimoires (the latest will level up you or your demonic ally instantly).
  2. Kuzunoha Village Training: Wealth (Training Hall 2). You can obtain Wood Ornament (1200 yen worth), Javanese Figure (8400 yen worth) and Persian Vase (15600 yen worth).
  3. Kuzunoha Village Training: Indulgences (Training Hall 3) grants Incense (increases the stats of Raidou and his demons) and Sake (increases the loyalty of your demons). Probably the best place to "grind" Worldly Summoner achievement.

Demon Confinement Achievements

Demon Charmer
Gain a demon ally through the art of confinement.

This trophy is story-related since you’ll need to confine a demon during the tutorial...

Underworld Savant
Gain 30 demon allies through the art of confinement.

You'll learn how to confine a demon in battle during the tutorial. Keep in mind that if your level is too low or you don’t have enough MAG, you won’t be able to confine a demon. It doesn't really matter how you answer their question other than some stat bonuses. Raidou doesn't really care either.

Combat Achievements

These achievements are a bit harder, but still fit into this category of the guide

Master of Demons
Perform Raidou's Combat Skills 300 times.

Hard to miss, just keep using your summoners skills. Not your demons skills.

Peerless Champion
Defeat 1,000 enemies.

Really hard to miss, just play throughout the story.

Legendary Kuzunoha
Defeat enemies with Devil's Bane 50 times.

When the battle stops for a second and prompts you to press a combo, that's devil's bane. Keep triggering it, by evading last minute.
Gifted Youth
Revive from death.

This is really easy to get, when you are playing on the higher difficulties. If you haven't accidentally gotten it already, just die and retry battle.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Training Hall Information
Below is a table of the conditions required to unlock floors of the Training hall.

This seems useless to have at first, but it is useful to know when you are trying to get certain rare materials, unlock more Renki's, or if you need a specific case file done.

Aril Rifts Achievements
Local Hero
Purge an Aril Rift.

Vanquisher of Evil
Purge 20 different Aril Rifts.

You can get these done as soon as Chapter 8. There are only 20 ever in the game, and they are spread out in the open world with static, non-movable positions. They are only in areas where you usually travel through for the story in the open world, so if you're genuinely not keeping an eye for them I'll just tell you the general locations of each of them:

Money-Related Achievements
NOTE: Even though these next two are braindead easy to get, they are missable, and fairly easy to forget to do, so I added them here.

Shrewd Opportunist (missable)
Have Gouto pay the streetcar fare.

Be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ poor, a cat has to pay for your street car fare. Its probably easier to do this early game, or if you're already close to zero dollars. You will also be forced to pay that greedy ass cat back when you have the funds.

Warning: this is a missable trophy! If you finish Case File 36 (Unlocked at Episode 10), you'll get an access to free streetcar rides, which voids the achievement for a current playthrough. If you have missed it, you can either go back a save prior to completing Case File 36, or you can do it in NG+

Prodigy
Leave a money offering at the old shrine.

In Dark Sakuradayama (unlocked at chapter 8), head to the right until you reach the temple. You can interact with it to offer some cash. Afterwards the achievement will pop.

NOTE: It's recommended to do the rest of these achievements near the mid-game or the end-game when money is easier to get.

Konnou-ya Habitué
Obtain the highest discount at Konnou-ya.

If not obtained throughout your normal gameplay, just buy and sell items (or sword materials that you can't sell back to get it done faster) to get the highest discount. There is about 10 ranks of his discount and sometimes he offers items for sale alongside his discounts. This is easier to get naturally as long as you are constantly buying material/consumables. Here is his ranks:

Worldly Summoner Achievement
Worldly Summoner
Raise your Summoner rank 30 times.

To Rank up your Summoner Rank, you must collect loyalty points from demons. If they're loyalty rank is full, you are NOT collecting points. I've been switching out demons with empty ones every chance I got throughout the game. I made it to Ch. 12 and did some side quests, and I still didn't have HALF of the ranks. SO YOU WILL HAVE TO GRIND FOR THIS ACHEVEMENT to max rank!

How did you grind for this?
Well thank you for asking random steam user I made up in my head! I wiped out every maxed out demon in my tubes (by fusion/releasing), and started collecting higher level demons (don't use the devil chart, just go to training hall - south). I always keep maxing out higher level demons because they take longer to level up and they require more loyalty. The longer your insta killing demons, the more loyalty you're collecting. More level ups/lower loyalty requirements takes up too much screen time. So always keep the demon levels higher than 50. When most of my party is maxed out, I just start fusing them to keep the level higher, and just collect the difference in the south training hall. Then just start insta killing demons from there collecting exp, money, and loyalty.

NOTE: Sake does help raising the rank up.

You always want to keep Loyalty intake above 20 points or higher per instakill for efficiency. It can go down to single digits, which is a nightmare to see, so don't spend any time on that. But don't be surprised if you see ~120 points per instakill. After a while of doing this, you'll no problem have the achievement.

What's instakilling?
If you're 10 levels higher than the demons, you can kill them instantly with sneak attack!

Well, how much ranks is there?
Too much, and they come in pairs. I'll have a table of how much ranks are there and how much loyalty points you need to have for the rank:

Why do the ranks come in pairs when I see only one rank ever?

Fun fact; you can change your rank any time. It's really simple, just go into your menu where you see your demons/swords/skills/etc and just hit configuration. Hover over Raidou and check his status. Then you can see the prompt to change your title.

Warning: If you change the status once, the menu will pop up that you ranked up, but not change the rank for you. It's kinda annoying if you are keeping track of it.
Devil Chart (Demon Compendium) Achievements
Capital Defender
Perform demon fusion for the first time.

Will be unlocked as you go for the Renowned Summoner achievement.

Demon Commander
Receive 50 letters from demon allies.

Demons (mostly demons with maxed Loyalty) will give you letters post fusion. Just keep fusing (preferably demons with maxed Loyalty) and you will eventually get this achievement.

Renowned Summoner
Perform 50 demon fusions.

Just keep fusing demons. Preferably, try to unlock this after you get the Unbound Summoner Achievement.

Silver-Tongued Devil
Gain Beelzebub as a demon ally.

Demons' Terror
Defeat the boss at the bottom level of the Training Hall.

Plot twist, the demon at the bottom level of the Training Hall is Beelzebub (Fly Form). To fight him, you must have done some per-resiquites:
  1. Get to Chapter 12
  2. Complete Case Files: 27, 34, and 39
  3. And Follow Case File: 43
Fight him (It's a beefy fight, so make sure you're high enough) and beat him to unlock him at the Goumaden to fuse.

Use the Calc shown later in the guide to figure out to fuse him if you're having trouble.

NOTE: Don't forget to finish Case 44 in the Akarana Corridor and to fuse all other demons before you finish the Akarana Corridor.
Case file Achievements
Taisho Swordsman
Complete a case file.

Lightning Blade
Complete all case files.

Case files are basically the games side quests, even though you don't need to finish them in one playthrough, it's recommended to do in general, due to how much it can help cut back the grind for other aspects of the game!

Honestly you don't really need a guide for the case files other than to know that some case files are only unlocked by continuing a chapter, and one case file is locked to NG+. It honestly is really easy, since the game guides practically guides you to completion. I will have a table of when each case file is usually unlocked:
Episode Requirement
Case Number
Episode 1
Case 1-5
Episode 2
Case 6-12
Episode 3
Case 13-17
Episode 4
Case 19-22
Episode 5
Case 23-26
Episode 6
Case 27
Episode 7
Case 28
Episode 8
Case 29-33
Episode 10
Case 34-38
Episode 11
Case 39-42
Episode 12
Case 43-44
New Game Plus
Case 45

If you see a case number you know you should've unlocked by now, just keep doing case files or keep progressing through the story until you have unlocked that number. (This includes case number 44, also required for Unbound Summoner.)

And if you are stuck on a specific case file, remember to check back on that case file. They do tend to update as you get more information.

Below is some case files I personally had trouble with:

Case file 13:
There is this bug where when you try to do the solo investigation to get something sweet you never get the required item, no matter what store you get into. It seems to happen randomly and I have no way of really recreating it. Initially I thought it was a one of a kind bug for me, but I have seen some people having trouble with it. So I will tell you some fixes I have found:
  • Progressing to the next episode to fix it
  • Restarting the game a few times to try to fix it.

Case file 26:
The code is: 19,312,025

Case file 29:
Just walk around Dark Sakuradayama for Kudan to randomly spawn. The other author of the guide found Kudan at Dark Kasumidai.

Case file: 41:
Gdon + Agathion = Lamia
Lamia + Obariyon = Erthys
Erthys + Obariyon = Neko Shogun
Neko Shogun + Aeros = Obariyon
Obariyon + Ukobach = Pixie

Don't forget to transfer Agidyne from Gdon all the way to Pixie.

The other author of the guide failed to obtain Lamia during the fusion between Gdon and Agathion. Instead he got the other one. However, after the fusion of "that other one" with Obariyon, following the abovementioned chain, he got Erthys. Just continue the chain (from Erthys to Neko Shogun, then to Obariyon) in order to obtain Pixie with a desired skill.

Case file: 44
It will unlock as you are traveling through the last dungeon.

Case file: 45
If you need to find the Bancho Uniform, it is with Detective Kazama who is at the south side of Tsukudo-cho on ep 1. If you aren't on episode 1 you need to check down the guide for the chart of Kazama's locations.
Sword Forging Achievements
Hand of God
Perform Sword Alchemy for the first time.

Make your first weapon, will be achieved while getting the Timeless Summoner achievement.

Dimensional Detective
Learn all of Raidou's Combat Skills.

Refer to the Timeless Summoner achievement. This Achievement is kinda pointless and is just to flex that Raidou can do skills now.

Timeless Summoner
Forge all weapons.

In order to forge a weapon you need MONEY, MATERIALS, and in some cases a brand new RENKI (starting sword). 4 weapons are NG+ exclusive and will only appear there. You will only get 9 Renki's so you have to do this throughout 2 playthroughs, luckily the achievement progression is cumulative across play throughs..

I have a guide with more information of what you need right here:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3515765028
IMPORTANT NOTICE: What Carries Over to New Game Plus?
Now you must be wondering: WhY dO i NeEd To KnOw ThIs????

Easy. Because some Achievements are locked for NG+, and to help to minimize the grind, it would be nice to know what you have, and what you don't have.

Here is what will be unlocked in NG+:

What will you still have:
  • The Devil Chart/Demon Compendium (NOTE: you will be able to summon any demon, regardless of level).
  • Shin-Sekai and Konnou-Ya ranks.
  • Riadou's demon loyalty title.
  • Your tube count.
  • Limited achievement progression? (This needs testing, incase I missed anything.)

What will you NOT have:
  • Raidou's Level will be reset.
  • Your items/weapons in your invetory.
  • Your cash.
  • The demons you have in your tubes.
  • Case Files Will Reset (But will not affect achievement progression).
  • Your virginity.

Why do I need to play NG+????

For the following achievements:
  • Timeless Summoner (More weapons are added in NG+.)
  • Unbound Summoner (One single Demon [yes seriously] is unique to NG+)
  • Sovereign Summoner (NG+ unlocks the hardest difficulty)
  • Lightning Blade (NG+ adds more case files)

With this known, you can continue on into the achievement hunt.
(NG+) Devil Chart (Demon Compendium) Achievements
Valiant Hero
Gain Raiho as a demon ally.

When you unlock the Goumaden in NG+ in Chapter 1, Case file 45 will be unlocked. You need to get a bancho uniform. You can get it from Detective Kazama from the beginning of Chapter 1, by talking to him in south Tsukudo-Cho, but he does spawn in other locations as you play throughout the Chapters. I could be wrong about the locations, but here is the locations of Detective Kazama from the original game:

Episode
Location
Episode 1
South of Tsukudo-Cho
Episode 2
Main Hall of Daidouji Residence. Talk to him before freeing Denpachi or else he will despawn
Episode 3
Northeast part of Ginza-Cho
Episode 4
In the back of Daidouji Factory
Episode 5
Catholic Church in Harumi-Cho
Episode 6
Northeast part of Ginza-Cho
Episode 7
Northeast part of Ginza-Cho
Episode 8
Northeast part of Ginza-Cho
Episode 9
Unavailable throughout the episode
Episode 10
In the center of Sakuradayama
Episode 11
In the center of Sakuradayama
Episode 12
Northeast part of Ginza-Cho

You also need to get enough Loyalty points to get "Master of Demons" title before you summon Raiho to fight.

After getting the uniform go in front of Konnou-Ya to fight Raiho as a boss. Afterwards, you can fuse him in the Goumaden.

Unbound Summoner
Register all demons in the Devil Chart.

There are 5 different types of legions only made from fusion accidents that are required for this achievement. Fusion accidents are quite rare, but is most common on a full moon.

But there are rumors that fusing skill demons with max loyalty or having a fusion count is a multiple of 7 giving better chances, but these once again are rumors.

If you have followed this guide, you have unlocked all locked demons. If you haven't done so, register all the demons you can now for the achievement. If you need help on what you need to fuse, check here:
https://aqiu384.github.io/megaten-fusion-tool/krch/demons
(NG+) Sovereign Summoner Achievement
Sovereign Summoner
Complete the game on Detective Legend difficulty.

When you beat the game on any difficulty, you unlock Detective Legend difficulty. Imo this difficulty is more annoying than hard and there's no other way to unlock this sooner. But luckily, like Shin Megami Tensi 3, this can be cheesed the exact same way! Just simply play the game on the easiest difficulty, when you make it to the last save point to the final boss, just switch the difficulty to Detective Legend and beat the final boss for the achievement!

"Well. I don't wanna beat the game again."
You fu- .....*gamer word*, ok well too bad:
