Matt's Leaders: Sophia Duleep Singh

Suffragette and civil rights activist, Sophia was born into the royal family of an Empire already annexed by the British. She was raised in the land of her people's conquerors, with Queen Victoria as her Godmother.

Though Britain was desperate to subdue her family and integrate them into the British aristocracy, Sophia rebelled. She took to the life of a militant Suffragette, facing multiple arrests for her direct action against the state. She likewise advocated for Indian independence.

Advance women's rights, and cultivate a high-skilled workforce as you provide representation, education, and civil rights for all.



FEATURES

• New Leader: Adds a new leader with a game-changing ability to train specialists from the very start of the game - but be careful of high gold maintenance costs.
  
• Narrative Storyline: A full complement of narrative events, including a leader story. Explore the politics of the Suffragettes and the early Civil Rights Movement, and meet some famous characters along the way.
  
• 3D Character:An animated 3D model representing Sophia. [Currently a placeholder until better tools for modifying models and adding animations etc become available]
  
  • Thanks to Izica who discovered a way to replace leader models! Make sure to install their leader model changer in order to use this mod.
• Great People: Some of Sophia's narrative events grant Suffragette units: special great people who grant bonuses to Specialists.
  
• Mementos: Three mementos themed after Sophia, including the newspaper 'the Suffragette', her beloved borzois Floe and Preciosa, and the WSPU Badge.
  
• Dog Memento: With Floe and Preciosa, keep your Scout Dogs at home to make your people happy!
  
• Important: Mementos are fiddly at the moment without full mod support from Firaxis. To unlock the mementos, start a game as Sophia, then return to the main menu to start a new game, and the mementos should be available! Let me know any issues you encounter with this, as that'll help us understand what works and why, and maybe find better implementations.
