NoGravAnchorNeeded

Description
About:
Prevents gravship launches from destroying your colony.
Features:
  • Gravship launches should no longer destroy colonies without a grav anchor.
  • A warning about lacking a grav anchor will not be displayed during launch.
  • This effectively renders grav anchors useless but does not remove them for compatibility.
  • GravAnchorBoostsLaunchQuality can be used to give grav anchors a different purpose, to make their existence not completely pointless.
Future updates:
  • Mentions of grav anchors will be removed from text.
  • The building and research will be still kept for compatibility.

Could solar flare unannounced spam be related to this mod creating many maps/abandoned sites? Seems to be getting loads of them.

Is this mod identical to "Non-Destructive Gravlaunch"? NoGravAnchorNeeded was uploaded earlier :)
Looks like both mods can be paired well with "Non-Destructive Gravlaunch" to deleted abandoned settlements.
Also, there are mods which modify behavior of craters:
Launch Sites Expire
Gravship Launch Site Timeout
No Gravship Launch Site World Map

Does this keep landing zones in the game? I.E. can I re-land at a POI a second time thats not my base? It's fine if the map itself resets but I don't want my world blown up with landing zones lol

wait, this keep maps open when they should be actually reset? like a quest temporal colony etc?

this seems to make faction base maps that you land at and then leave unable to be closed. cool that you can't nuke faction bases just by landing and taking off again, but then you just permanently have that map open lol
Mangone  [author] 12 Jul @ 7:33am
@Jonfun, yes. If it is a permanent map, you do not need to leave any pawns at all there.
Jonfun 12 Jul @ 5:26am
So can I leave some pawns behind at my base and land back there in my ship and everything will still be there?
