Spawn Menu - Ultimate Edition

Description
Attention! This mod may require a significant amount of RAM when loading.

First of all I would like to say a big thank you to MrThirtyOddSix and his CheatMenu mod for Call to Arms.
Thanks to his codebase I have a much better understanding of the GEM game engine.
Although this project took me a little less than two years to complete, without his contribution I think it would have taken me much longer.

Recent updates:

  • Completely reworked vehicle spawning system. Now you can choose how to spawn vehicles, with or without crew.
  • Also fixed the function of deleting units. Now you can also delete vehicles.
  • Added the ability to increase the veteran level of infantry units.
  • Added the ability to remove just one unit, instead of all units.

Description:

This mod adds not only already known to many mechanics from similar menus, but also a lot of other useful features, including the ability to change the weather, the ability to see what and where the player wants to spawn, as well as many other useful features, including, finally, the modularity of the code of the menu itself, which will help faster understand its functionality for novice modders!

How to activate :

  1. Subscribe to the mod
  2. Activate the mod in the game
  3. When selecting a mission, click the “use the menu in this mission” checkbox
  4. If you have done everything correctly, you will see a welcome message at the beginning of the mission, and then the menu icon will appear on the right side of the menu itself

Compatibility:

This modification will be compatible with all modifications that do not modify vanilla missions

can't work without DLC?

is this supposed to work for skirmish battles?

I get the notice that the menu is running but I do not see the menu icon in the bottom right when I am in the game.

Thanks.

Oh, right, I think I really misunderstood what you meant.
About the “ai mode” as a standalone mod, I don't think it would be useful without the spawn menu, because in this mode units tend to die a lot because they act carelessly, and in case of vanilla missions where units are limited or need to act stealthy, this can be quite a problem. Anyway, I don't have time for additional mods yet, as I'm busy updating the menu functionality.

i think you might have miisunderstood what i tried to say, i mean like the ai mode itself as a standalone mod

The “ai mode” control button is in the tools tab, if you don't see it, try scrolling down the list .

idk if you'd ever do this but i'd love to see the "ai mode" as a standalone thing, it really helps ease the need for loaaads of micro managing
