Description
It's a trap!
Relive iconic battles of every eras of Star Wars or write your own canon, the choice is yours!

"From here you will witness the final destruction of the Alliance and the end of your insignificant rebellion."

Factions
Pick one of many factions from the Star Wars universe directly from the main lobby before starting a game or jump straight in and use the faction selector!

-The current factions include
Royal Naboo
Trade Federation
Galactic Republic
Confederacy of Independent Systems
Rebel Alliance
Galactic Empire


Version v1.1:

General:
-New soundtrack added "A New Hope - Battle of Yavin" (Named as track 18 in files)

Empire:
-New unit: AT-DT, a Tech 3 Artillery walker that has bonus vs buildings, and slight AT capabilities
-New Unit replacements: AT-PT (Replaces TIE Mauler), and Deathtrooper (Replaced Dark Trooper). The replaced units will be included on the upcoming Imperial Remnant faction (Possibly arriving in 2 more updates)
-TIE Droid available in sandbox (Will be the default fighter for Imperial Remnant)

Naboo:
-Battlecruiser damage against air unit reduced

Rebels:
-Bothan Saboteur fixed, had an issue where it could not attack buildings with bombs as intended, now it can.

Republic:
-Saber Tank and AT-AP sprites have been reworked
-Saber tank now fires 3 double bursts of blaster, beam turret removed

We will be taking inspiration from Expanding Fronts mod from Galactic Battlegrounds, too, and we won't lie that some few units may be made-up too, like the Naboo Battlecruiser, it's actually inspired from the Naboo Bomber from "Battle For Naboo", but stronger frame and bigger and set as aerial artillery. We thought of the GB Air cruiser, but as much as me and Sushi are very biased towards Naboo, their GB Air cruiser looks ugly af like a clown face fr fr, so we came up with our own version of an air cruiser :lilacstare:

Oooh, heck yeah! Glad to see my hunch was right but also I love Star Wars mods and stuff that give attention to more than just what gets highlighted in the mainstream. Thanks again for the work you and Sushi have put into this, can't wait to see how it expands because this has been such a refreshing RTS-based Star Wars experience! It's great to basically relieve Galactic Battlegrounds but with more modern conveniences and whatnot, plus learning about units like the AST that I don't think I've heard about before, always fun discovering cool new things in Star Wars to read about!

This is not a collaboration I was expecting. I'm a bit curious if we'll see the Old Republic and Sith Empire factions (the factions from WAY before Episode 1), or if those 2 would be too powerful/hard to do.

Perhaps something can be done in the future, right now the way it is, is because AI likes to be trapped inside Tech 2, and how it currently is allows them to escape that loop.

1 solution I see to this is letting AI have its own AI-only tech-up which is very cheap or even free, but takes long, while for players could work as suggested: More expensive but shorter time

I do feel the same. It feels more like something mandatory to go for as soon as possible rather than a strategic decision. I would rather increase the price a bit and make it take a minute to research. Like its done in the Age of Empires series.

An update will arrive between today or tomorrow, which adresses some issues and balancing. It also will add at least 1 new unit to the Empire, +2 Empire units being replaced for them for another. The replaced units will appear later again on the next faction to come: The Imperial Remnant (Eventually)
