City 17: Ivaylo Street (ver. 1.4)

This is my first (and likely last) map for Garry’s Mod. Inspired by Viktor Antonov’s concept arts, references, and real locations in Sofia, it took me two and a half months to create it with invaluable help from my friends and the Dark Interval Discord Community. The map was made using Hammer++ and requires no additional addons or games.

This map is far from perfect. You might encounter flaws, bugs, inaccuracies or bad performance. I’m not a professional mapper, or even an average one. But if you decide to give it a try, I’d genuinely appreciate it. I’ll do my best to fix any reported bugs as soon as possible.

If you enjoyed the map, I'd appreciate if you press a Like button (no pressure though!). It will help me with related achievements. Big thanks to everyone adding this to favorites and collections!

Map features:
  • Representation of real buildings from Sofia;
  • AI-Nodes;
  • Auto-generated nav-meshes;
  • Few easter-eggs.

If time (and patience) allows, I also plan to:
  • Improve some visuals;
  • Add a cubemaps;
  • Optimize performance;
  • More easter-eggs.

P.S. If you have weird or broken grass, type in console whereis detail.vbsp, it will tell you which addon is replacing the detail. Delete or disable this addon and it will be fixed. If it is located in the root folder, try deleting it and verify integrity of garry's mod files. These are the only solutions that might possibly help.
