That’s actually an issue with the vanilla raccoon and the Trap Everything mod.
When Indie Stone made it possible to catch raccoons with traps, raccoons didn’t have a dead body.
So they set it up so that either a live raccoon would be caught, or a dead rabbit.
It seems the creator of the Trap Everything mod copied the vanilla raccoon data when making their mod.
Just like in vanilla, they made it so that you either catch a live animal or a dead rabbit.
So it’s not strange that it appears as a dead rabbit — the actual data is set to catch a dead rabbit.
Yes, everything is displayed correctly.
But there is one nuance, I checked Russian and English localization and they both show Capture item a little incorrectly... I don't know what the matter is, but many animals have Capture itam = Dead Rabbit. (for example, Chicken -> Capture Item = Dead Rabbit)
I’ve added the Russian translations. Thank you!
Please check later when you have time to make sure everything displays correctly.
What encoding should I use for Russian?
According to what I found, version 41 requires ANSI, and version 42 requires UTF-8 (without BOM).
Is that correct?
You can either post it as a comment or either post it as a discussion.
The trap skill level doesn't matter at all.
Isn't it possible that the mod which adds additional animals isn't enabled in your save?
