If you talk to the Japanese lady in the weapons shop and try to be polite by only telling her, "I don't like knives," then she points you toward the shuriken. Continuing with this dialog option results in not receiving the Cobra as intended, and a map restart is required.
There's a lot of running around from map to map. In between scenes really need to be warp locations located on the same map. These maps are small, so the loading screens are short in this case.
Trying to open the door to the CHEAP HOTEL causes the guy to run around a strange pathway. Consider invisible block movement props to force the more intuitive path.
I'll be sure to check out the Director's Cut version before I continue further.
I have finally finished porting Project: ShadowMancer into Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut! In that version, I have fixed the scene that has been broken in this version since the beginnning.
You can subscribe/download the Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut version of Project: ShadowMancer at THIS LINK
Thanks for the feedback!
The confusion that you're experienceing comes from teh fact that there is an arcade/office leg of the chase in Shadowmancer. However, upon uploading it, it broke and I think I'm going to have to recreate it from scratch again. Once i do get it fixed/recreated, that scene will be in there, don't fret.
I will say that I remember the scene after being chased into the arcade and jumping from the window as being very intense in the book (Thinking about attacking and then making the decision to flee instead). A lot of that was lost and I'd love ot see that put in somehow. Currently, it's kind of confusing. You are told to go to an arcade and then it talks about surviving the fall.
I was also hoping that Molly would be more attractive, especially knowing what comes later.
I posted a possible fix that i discovered in THIS THREAD HERE. Try it out, and post a reply there on if ity was succesful.
