1986-1989 Austie Kingsman FXV RW-GT

LORE:

In 1983, Austie sent a spy to the Grey Falcon R&D Department to acquire knowledge on their newest upcoming models. in the process however, the spy acquired key knowledge on serious fraud committed by grey falcon's CEO. Using this, they blackmailed GF into giving them the rights to modify the new Sundial platform in whatever way they see fit and sell it in Europe. in 1987, the CEO of GF was found out and ousted, replaced by a new CEO. due to the age of the sundial, they pulled it from production, with Austie following suit as they had been drawing up concepts for a new platform (ensuring karma does not come their way by not allowing new employees near it.)

The FXV model was also stolen, but from Sawyer. Austie's CEO won a poker night in a best agaisnt Sawyer, and therefore gained the foling for their shooting brake bodystyle and drivetrain. However, since most of the drivetrain was useless anyways, it was thrown out and replaced with a highly tuned version of the Kingsman's standard V6, including a slight bore to 3.2L, bigger camshafts, an adjusted final drive, and cooler looking spark plugs to hide the fact the engine was about as sporty as your nan in her VW polo.

TRIVIA:

The RW-GT was essentially Austie realising they COULD make a fast 2-door estate. With a field of engineers throwing god knows what at the poor V6, and a little bit of floor-plan modification, the RW-GT was set to market as "An evolution of the FXV platform".

Surprisingly, sales of the RW-GT held about as strong as its FWD sister, keeping up with its sales figures for as long as it was on the market. In fact, the RW-GT was such a surprise success, that it lived almost a year LONGER than the original FXV. With production ending in 1989 as sales figures finally began to die down.

In popular culture, the RW-GT was featured in famous British Television series "Cross-It", in which the car was the transportation device of the main cast, a somewhat down on their luck squad of friends attempting to road trip across the entire planet. Surprisingly, during the series finale, the RW-GT reached an astonishing 150MPH while filming the escape scene.
