Sol Unrestricted Warfare

Description
Unrestricted Warfare / Warfare Expanded

Claimless wars. Capital-born armies. Total freedom to conquer.

New Claimless Wars – Declare Without Justification.
  • Unrestricted War: Declare war against anyone, anywhere, any time.
  • Tiered Wars: Custom wars by title rank (county, duchy, kingdom, empire, unrestricted).
  • All-in-One Wars: You can fight for multiple titles in one war.
  • Multiple Wars: Declare war while already at war.
  • Invasion Rules: These wars give you occupied territory and take Baronies.
  • Troop Replenishment: Automatically refills Levies, MAAs, and Garrisons upon starting these wars, or winning these wars.
  • Special Troops: Declaring these wars causes temporary Special Troops to appear in your capital. They do NOT consume supplies, are non-inheritable, and will disappear after attacker victory.
  • Imprison Losers: You will imprison the loser's dynasty members, guests, courtiers.
  • Prestige, Gold, Piety, Renown: These wars give some payment for declaring, and for winning.

New Decision: Activate Special Troops
When you declare any war, or war is declared on you, a small number of special troops and levies will appear in every province you own which has a holding. They do not use supplies, are non-inheritable, and disappear after attacker victory. This can be enabled or disabled.

New Interaction: Unrestricted Warfare
This interaction has no (okay, few) restrictions no diplomatic range and can be used to press your wars across the world.

Mod Compatiblity
COMPATIBLE WITH AGOT
COMPATIBLE WITH ELDER KINGS

Should be compatible with most mods.
No vanilla files are overwritten.
Some vanilla files are appended through on_action.

  • Special troops consist of vanilla Accolade units. If a total conversion mod replaces them, it will cause an issue.
Note: The accolade units will not mess with actual accolades, as they are just a stack of special troops.

    Balance:
This is a cheat mod, however some balance is respected. The special troops are small stacks of troops. Early in the game, they are impactful, but later what matters more is replenishing levies, garrisons, and maa.

The capital troop spawn is baked into the CB itself. The troops which appear across your realm can be enabled/disabled through a decision. If you do NOT want the capital troops, or on declare/victory replenishment of MAA, Garrisons, and Levies,, imprisoning losers, or extra prestige/piety/renown/gold, use the BASIC version of this mod.

The wars will summon a small stack at your capital.
The decision will cause any war declared by you, or against you to give you stacks in each province.
They will go away on attacker victory.

Thanks for the answer :)

1. Yes, player only. I don't make mods for the AI to play with.
2. AGOT yes. I think all my mods are pretty compatible across the board.
3. BASIC - I removed some of the cheat-ish functions for people who would rather semi-cheat than full-cheat. Personally I use the deluxe versions. I made the BASIC just in case someone wants fewer/no bonuses, troop spawns, etc. All this is in the description.
4. They upgraded the ai piss to varnish? Glad to know.

some Questions:

Is it Player only if not is there a Setting to make it so?

and what is the difference between Basic and Deluxe?
Broke saves?

I did some simulations with no mods, with only this mod, and with all mods I use, and I observe the same number of in-realm and out of realm wars in all cases. I do agree there are fewer wars (in all tests) than there used to be.

I also do not change AI war behavior. There are no game rules in this mod. If there is an error or function causing the AI to not "play the game as normal", i will fix it ASAP. The goal of my mods is for the AI to carry on as normal, so I generally avoid touching Vanilla files.

I will look closely, but this mod does not include anything that would stop an AI from declaring a normal war. It does include the Unrestricted War option, which AI cannot do. It has the various Unrestricted Wars, which AI cannot do. However I do not change anything about vanilla declare war, casus bellis, etc.
