New Greek Faction Names(Ideas)

Sardes should be Lydia as Sardes itself was the capital of Lydia (a powerful empire at one point turned into a satrapy of the Persians then the Selucids). Sparta should be Lacedaemon (Laconia was the region) hence the Greek letter Lamda on their shields. They called themselves Lacedaemons and the city Sparta was their capital (but not their only city).

Calling the people who reside on Crete the Cretans is perfect. I don't know of any other proper name for Athens than Athenians. Dorians and Ionians weren't political entities but more like Greek sub groups.

Hey buddy. Just a thought only; Cretans at the time were 100% Dorians.

ChildOfKali@ ok , i understand it happens to have these people common accent but they are not the same people. so, you know the greek language and you will understand that in greeks the Ionians in the west writting with ο and in the east with ω.

Ok mate! here is my suggestion, 'Knossos-The Atlanteans'. The legend of Atlantis in Plato's
writings is based on the Cretan/Knossos/Minoan civilazation, perhaps Atlanteans is their lost
name. what your views on that mate? By the way 'The Cretans' it's also cool, either way is
ok for me.
