Tighter Roads

Description
This mod adjusts the mapping of most of the buildings in the game to allow greater freedom in where the player may place roads. In most cases, anywhere where people could walk is now a road enabled tile. This allow for more seamless integration of your buildings into the surrounding infrastructure.

It also removes the mandatory strip of road in front of some buildings. Note that a building will not function if you block the entrance point, however.

In the case of the Market, which already had roads everywhere, they can now be replaced with stone roads.

WARNING: NOT SAVE GAME COMPATIBLE!
If you try to load this mod into an existing save, and then try to delete a building, it will leave behind permanent, unusable land. However, if you absolutely must use this mod for an existing save, there is a tedious workaround:
1. Do not load the mod yet. Just load your city.
2. Delete the building you want to modify.
3. Once it is gone, load the mod.
4. Rebuild the building
5. Once it it complete, unload the mod (the roads will remain). Or you can leave it on, if you don't plan on deleting any more old buildings.
5a. If you want to delete the new building, it must be deleted with the mod loaded.


This mod should be compatible with everything. I tried it with unlimited mines and quarries, as well as Colonial Charter and a handful of misc mods.

1.暂时不要加载mod。
把你的城市装满就行了。
2.删除您要修改的建筑。
3.一旦它消失,加载mod。
4.重建大楼。
5.完成后,卸载MOD(道路将保持不变)。
或者,如果你不打算删除更多的旧建筑,你也可以让它开着。

这个模块应该与所有东西兼容。

(i just wonder if i should use this or the update with the no CC patch - thx for that btw, as some ppl don't want a total conversion but just some vanillafriendly fixes&improvements^^)

why this is still online and not in any way marked as "outdated" if there is a newer and propably better version?
(btw. there is a nice button calling "formatting help", wich keeps the holy secret of propper bb-tag formatting ;-) - tough steam treats them horrible at times, theire parser suc-ks! -.-#)

(Sorry can't edit comments so sorry for double posting) What's this Extended Edition you speak of, and this is an older version? Where can I get the newest version of this mod?

You should probably use the extended version of this mod if you plan on playing it with CC. It has a lot more content supported. Click my name on the right to see all of them :)

Ahem, no but seriously I can't thank you nearly enough as I should be able to if this actually works with Colonial Charters, because almost nothing works with it and it's an essential mod for me. xD

Yes, I agree. I reverted that change to the marketplace in the newer version (this is an old version). Extended Edition is quite a bit newer. The extra mods it supports are optional.
