THIS MOD IS MOVING
For maintenance reasons, the Stargate mod is moving here.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but this will allow us to service the mod better.
I (Phoenix) am the scripter, so it makes sense to move the move to my account, since the scripts are what break and change the most. This version will still work for a time, to ease transition, however it will not function forever. When this mod stops functioning, all the blocks will disappear.
The new version is a drop-in replacement, 100% compatible with this one. Simply replace the this ID with the new one (754173702).

ATTENTION!
This is the hardcore version of the Stargate mod, you can find the normal one here
Do not use both mods at the same time!
The hardcore version increases the cost of several blocks as well as their building time.

1. Place at least 2 gates on different stations or Ships. The gates can also be floating in space.
2. Place a DHD. It will detect the nearest Stargate and control it. It must not be connected to a gate.
3. Name the Gates like "Gate1", "Gate2", "Astereoid Base", "Alpha Base", whatever you like.
4. Change name of the DHD near a stargate to "Gate2" in order to teleport to "Gate2".
5. Press button on DHD (Do not asign the button to anything, leave it empty, just press it)

Note: The gates will stay open 10 sec after the first Engineer went through. This means, all your
friends can follow you. Put "[Autoclose=#]" in the DHD name, to autoclose the DHD after # seconds.


Access a terminal and change the option "Use conveyor system" of the gate to "On".
The iris will also automatically open for any members of your faction.


1. Place at least two Supergates somewhere.
2. Fly with your ship near one and activate the Supergate via DHD on your ship.
Remember, you cannot connect a small Stargate with a Supergate.

If you having problems, try deleting the mod and reloading the world to download it again.
There seems to be a problem with updating, causing the mod to get corrupted.
To delete it, in SP and MP, delete %appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Mods\307034320.sbm
In Dedicated Server, delete %appdata%\SpaceEngineersDedicated\Mods\307034320.sbm

Is there any possibility to get a seperate version of this that does not include the cargoships? They always spam my world to much =/

Great mod! However, whenever an Asgard ship spawns it annihilates the server until it is manually removed by an admin. All other ships seem fine and this is a very powerful server. Please for the love of god (and not the Asgard apparently) let us remove that monster ;)

Is there any way to reduce the spawn frequency of cargo ships from this mod? I have a mod that reduces vanilla cargo ship spawn rates, but it does not seem to affect the SG cargo ships, regardless of mod load order.

HOLY SHIT :D ript my ship apart when i got close :) omgad srs and i had heavy blocks, and first i came under it and destroyd 4 turrents, but when i slowly went to top side all i saw whas Death, it eated throw everything, omgad

They are probably going to be listed inside the mod itself.. was just about to look at mine actually and uncompress the files haha.. I have up to 13 SG ships at once around me and like 9 of those are the same ship.. as for the lights you can always manually modify the ship prefabs to remove all the lights to help reduce lag, as for the spawning I am unsure as I said I am about to look into modifying my files because I would like other things to spawn in as well..

I agree with Spatium, is there a way to turn off the NPC stargate ships,
some of them have WAY to many thrusters/lights and other things for use on a server.
i looked in the SpawnGroups.sbc but the stargate ships are not listed there?

The randomly spawning cargo ships have a too high spawn rate. These ships make up 95% of the ones randomly spawning and the two asgard ships are large enough for me to lag.
This is in the stable branch.

every time within the last two days when i load my map it says theres a error with the mod not sure how to show the bug dose anyone else haviing this issue
