Tabletop CROKINOLE

Description
Deluxe version with 5 different boards!
Tabletop Crokinole is a game of skill for 2 - 4 players.

How to play & rules: It's included in the mod.

Important:
•Set Options-Gravity Multiplier to 0.20 !
•Set Lift Height (left side of screen) to approx. 10%

Description (boardgamegeek.com)
This game is like shuffleboard in the round. Players take turns flicking disks on a board, trying to
score points by attaining central regions. The main stipulation being that contact with the other
teams' pieces must be made in order for the disk to remain on the board afterward. Although the game uses quite a bit of skill to flick the disks, there's a very significant strategy element to the game. There are many different variants and rules, as this game is very old and has had many different incarnations over the years.
Crokinole is also known as Pichenotte.

Board Game Rank: 39, Family game Rank: 2

The mod includes 5 custom boards (2 standard boards - wood layout,
Earth-, Vinyl- and a Sportsboard) and custom sized Backgammon pieces.

Tabletop Crokinole is part Nr.7 of my tabletop skill games collection.

regarding invisible walls: what worked for us, is to reduce gravity as suggested be the creator and try flick just with relatively small force. slower flicks resulted in less random collisions for us.

hello, any solution for the invisible walls that block the advance of the discs?

Thank you for the cool mod! Just 3 minor thoughts:

1. I forgot to "Lock" one of the other boards, if they aren't locked then the pieces seem to "hover" above the board (maybe this is something that changed recently)?
2. The height note could maybe say "Adjusted via Weight lifter icon"?
3. Here is a pdf that you could put on the table for quick access: https://cdn.1j1ju.com/medias/dc/16/37-crokinole-rulebook.pdf

Over on BGG I added your mod to list of other games that don't have copyrights:

@hockjock666 Could you please upload the the poker chips objects to a plublic mod and maybe share your settings (only if they are important) so all can play the mod without collinding to invisible objects, please.

Very disappointing. The invisible wall problem renders the game unplayable. There's something wrong with the board. I tried various kinds of playing pieces, they all had the same issues.

Love the fact that you made it. Just too bad about the intermittent invisible walls that ruins the fun.

I've been using poker chips with reduced friction to avoid the sometimes failing collisions.

The Invisible walls are such a bummer. Love this game, but impossible to play basically.

We tested the pieces on other boards and they seem to have the same invisible wall problem. It appears to be an issue with the pieces themselves.

Invisible walls all over the place that mess up your shots :(
