regarding invisible walls: what worked for us, is to reduce gravity as suggested be the creator and try flick just with relatively small force. slower flicks resulted in less random collisions for us.
Alex Grass 8 Jan, 2023 @ 3:12pm
hello, any solution for the invisible walls that block the advance of the discs?
packrat1984 11 May, 2022 @ 6:43pm
Thank you for the cool mod! Just 3 minor thoughts:

1. I forgot to "Lock" one of the other boards, if they aren't locked then the pieces seem to "hover" above the board (maybe this is something that changed recently)?
2. The height note could maybe say "Adjusted via Weight lifter icon"?
3. Here is a pdf that you could put on the table for quick access: https://cdn.1j1ju.com/medias/dc/16/37-crokinole-rulebook.pdf

Over on BGG I added your mod to list of other games that don't have copyrights:

Please keep up the great work on all your mods!

@hockjock666 Could you please upload the the poker chips objects to a plublic mod and maybe share your settings (only if they are important) so all can play the mod without collinding to invisible objects, please.
DAVE 3 Feb, 2021 @ 10:40am
Very disappointing. The invisible wall problem renders the game unplayable. There's something wrong with the board. I tried various kinds of playing pieces, they all had the same issues.
Zifferony 13 Jan, 2021 @ 2:47am
Love the fact that you made it. Just too bad about the intermittent invisible walls that ruins the fun.
Assael02 21 Dec, 2020 @ 9:00am
I've been using poker chips with reduced friction to avoid the sometimes failing collisions.
Zreezy 4 Dec, 2020 @ 7:48pm
The Invisible walls are such a bummer. Love this game, but impossible to play basically.
hockjock666 24 Jul, 2020 @ 10:51am
We tested the pieces on other boards and they seem to have the same invisible wall problem. It appears to be an issue with the pieces themselves.
TheGrapeOfSpades 27 Jun, 2020 @ 10:05am
Invisible walls all over the place that mess up your shots :(
breakfastdragon 26 Jun, 2020 @ 6:04am
Unfortunately there are a lot of invisible objects that the disks collide with, which makes it virtually unplayable.

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

@honeysmacks86 - shortcut for "flick" is F5 key (mouse over the icons on the top left and there are very small shortcuts in the top-left of each icon.)
Diggarrow 25 Apr, 2020 @ 12:13am
Upon further testing it seems that its just the white colored pucks that hit the invisible walls
Diggarrow 25 Apr, 2020 @ 12:10am
Same hitting alot of invisible walls
Tarnish 15 Apr, 2020 @ 4:32pm
Lot of invisible walls that clip the pieces and send them flying. What is that about?!
honeysmacks86 12 Apr, 2020 @ 1:04pm
How do I add a shortcut to change to flick, I don't see it as an option in any menu or configuration/controls?
Kordain 9 Apr, 2020 @ 6:54pm
ahh never mind, i wasnt the host, guess they only have the toggle function
Kordain 9 Apr, 2020 @ 6:41pm
ok, maybe im a newb, but how do you unlock the spare boards???
machineguy 28 Jun, 2019 @ 10:58am
Unlock them and move them there.
Zarrakis 1 Jan, 2018 @ 5:44pm
Stupid question, how do you change to the other game boards?
VigyoJames 30 Dec, 2017 @ 12:30pm
Fun! I saw this game on youtube and was happy someone had made it on tabletop sim so I could try it out. Looks and plays great for me! :)
Aaron 3 Mar, 2017 @ 7:16pm
Nice game. To use the other boards just unlock them in the "toggles" menu on right click. If it falls and disappears it may have dropped into a token bag, thats where mine went.
badinfo 27 Feb, 2016 @ 8:18pm
Working pretty well. Some occasional weirdness near the hole and once in awhile we have seen a disc seem to hit an invisible object and go flying but overall its working.
Thanks !
Kicker 21 Jan, 2016 @ 10:11pm
counters dont work, I think? Can't import the thing
Riddix  [author] 16 Jan, 2016 @ 10:17am
Hello again,
I made some improvements for a better and more realistic gameplay:
- new custom models for the discs,
- changes to the physics of the boards (sliding and rebound)
- counters added
I hope you like it :BlueTalisman:
Green 15 Jan, 2016 @ 3:08pm
Thanks for the content. By the way this seems to effect most of the dexterity games just to let you know.
Riddix  [author] 15 Jan, 2016 @ 2:56pm
Hi GreenGamer, I checked it and you are right. I used the ingame Backgammon discs when I made the game and don't know, if the devs have changed the tiles since I published the game a year ago.
I'll change the discs with custom tokens in the near future - pls be patient.
Thanks for your comment
Green 15 Jan, 2016 @ 12:32am
The disks act like thay are square.
素晴らしいポッサム 23 Mar, 2015 @ 1:04pm
I was planning on making this because I love to play this game at my grandparent's house with their nice board, but I decided to search first and found this! I love this game and am excited to try this mod. :)
sparkypaul 3 Jan, 2015 @ 3:41pm
+1 for carrom with "flick" function.
Riddix  [author] 28 Dec, 2014 @ 2:29am
Thanks for your positive feedback.
Carrom is on my To-do list for next year. I hope that the flick-function will be implemented soon. That would improve playablility of most of my skill-games.
Taz 27 Dec, 2014 @ 4:02pm
Love your mods. Any chance of you doing Carrom? Thank you for the joy.
Mora 22 Dec, 2014 @ 3:15pm
I still feel there needs to be a "flick" functionality added to TTS for these type of games to feel right, but you did a really nice job on the board. :)
Knil  [developer] 19 Dec, 2014 @ 4:38pm
Nice!
ItsNotJustAllergies 19 Dec, 2014 @ 4:33pm
how do i actually add it to my game
Dan 19 Dec, 2014 @ 3:54pm
Well done as always! This is quite interesting.
