Sound like you've got it figured out - thanks for that. I can go back and adjust as you suggested to fix it.

Thanks again!

Wow, apparently I hit the character limit for the first time. Heck, I didn't even know there WAS a character limit.I had attached the below paragraph to my last comment, but it didn't fit, apparently...

I had a few other things I'd like to talk to you about with a couple of your other designs, mainly just some ideas to bounce off you, but a few troubleshooting things. I'd love to be able to talk to you in private. If you're interested, send me a friend request, please.

So, I've determined that frdonnan's diagnosis is wrong. The issue is that the conveyor tube can't be built ON the projector. I tested this by moving the projection one block forward, which unfortunately means the tube is out of range of the grinder. Activating the load sequence builds the torpedo, and if I manually grind the conveyor tube, I can initiate the fire sequence and it functions normally.

So, really, it's a matter or moving the grinder and, if aesthetics are an issue, the welders. Because of the welder's range, they will function as is with a relocated projector. But the grinder's limited range means that it must be moved to function properly. I don't know how the timer blocks are set up, and am kinda scared to mess with them, so I'm not comfortable moving the grinder myself, but at least I've determined the REAL problem here. Knowing the actual problem makes fixing it a whole lot easier, I'm sure.-

You're welcome! :D

The launch system for this version of the Tethys was broken by an update (not sure which one – see frdonnan’s comment below for an explanation). I just tried loading in the original Enceladus and Tethys from the steam workshop and was able to do so without issue. I have found that the steam blueprint list can take a while to update; and that, once updated, can appear to not change until I scroll up or down and/or erase a previous search. I am sorry it isn’t working for you atm, but I hope that might help. As for the collection, I moved in a different direction where my Void Corp collection is all without mods and survival compatible, and now this collection will be using mods to expand the possibilities on larger ships. I did neglect to update the description; thanks you for pointing that out! Thanks for your interest – I’ll see about a fix or a new design for torpedoes without mods in the future :)
Happy Engineering!

P.S. The collection's description says you wouldn't be using mods, so what happened with the Tethys Alpha?

Has the issue with this design been fixed? I like the Tethys Alpha design, but I'm looking to build a torpedo ship on aserver without block mods, and I'd like to try this one out.

At the moment, though, I can't even seem to bring it up in the blueprints menu in-game. I've subscrbed, and all the other blueprints I've used work fine, but this version of the tethys, the enceladus, and the accompanying torpedo, don't seem to function.

Thank you for saving me a lot of troubleshooting, frdonnan!

The conveyer tube on the torpedo when projected is not detected as an actual block so the projecter thinks the torpedo is out of range. This means it cannot be welded.

I just took a look after reading your message and it isn’t working for me either. This is an old design (there have been many updates to the game since). One of those updates must have changed something that rendered this design non-functional. I apologize for the disappointment, but I’ll look into getting fixed. You might be happy to know though, there is a new Tethys model coming very soon which is far better than this! Thanks for stopping by, and happy engineering!
