Hi guys,

This mod, plus Macklesmod Hoplons fixed, plus Notitia Dignitatum 2.0 (with patch) makes hoplites perfect! get all three for the essential Greek campaign.

This is a very small and simple mod that really improves the look of Hellenic troops. I have taken the new linothoraxes added by the Black Sea culture pack and applied them to all vanilla units that wear the linothorax. You do not need the DLC to use this mod.

I always found linothoraxes to be a little boring, they are white, white, white, and white. In reality soldiers would have decorated their armour with paint or reinforced it with scale and leather.

The new armour is appropriate to the unit that wears it. Peltasts and levy troops have armour that is less fancy and basic while elite troops are decked out in scale. Carthaginian troops and Persian Hoplites also have their own variants - as they do in vanilla. Every linothorax unit has been edited and are more varied, realistic and easy on the eye.

I will be applying the new armours to my own unit mods pretty soon. Tell your favourite unit modders about this - everything in it is 100% free to use without permission.

In fact, any unit modder that opens this up in PFM will find a nice little surprise I came up with that will make editing linothoraxes even easier :)
