Grim ~ Classic Duel/TD/LTS

Description
Tired of warm deserts? Tired of peaceful villages?
Grim might be just the change you need. As its name implies; you'll find nothing but depression and darkness here.

I designed Grim after the concept of dramatic fantasy climaxes. The playable area is completely flat to prevent any typical elevation-related BS moments.
The map is available in the following gamemodes:
  • Free For All --- Note however, that it's primarily meant for classic duels considering players can heal up in the center lake.
  • Team Deathmatch
  • Last Team Standing

For players who desire an even creepier and colder setting, use the extra foggy versions declared with _fog in the mapname.

Warning: Grim may contain a number of secrets.

Very intriguing, but...i'm damn curious about secrets....how much are they? I found two: the tomb of Tyler and the sound of an ancient battle

Low filesize was the main priority for this map.
Therefore I haven't made any new rain effects, the map instead uses the same one as Darkforest.
Sadly this also means that I can't do much regarding optimization and tweaks when it comes to the weather effect.

Though it's unlikely that the rain is causing your low framerate. Try lowering your foliage setting.

low fps. low fps. so low fps!

is the rain killing my framerate? is it? is it?! rain? are you?!

is there a possibility for an update / change? °°

Open up the .bat file you use to start your server.
After the attributes like -seekfreeloadingserver and -dedicated=true , you need to paste -sdkfileid=(SDKid)
You can find that id in the URL of a workshop item page.

In this map's case, that attribute would be -sdkfileid=382033840

In the server you can log in as an admin and change the map by writing "adminchangemap AOCFFA-Grim_p" in the console.
