Quite some time ago, I made Wheatley Battle Redux, to make up for the pitiful map of mine that is Wheatley's Core. Now, comes Wheatley Battle Redux 2.0, where everything has been improved...

If you follow my workshop, you may remember Wheatley Battle Redux. It was a mix of the final battle from Portal 2's main single-player campaign mixed with 12 Angry Tests(by CaretCaret)' boss battle, also minus one portal gun. Since posting that, I've seen a few negative reviews of the aesthetics, and I myself had even wanted to fix up the map. So, comes this. As well, this is my first execution of Act 4-styled maps; that's Wheatley Labs for all you non-mappers out there. A full aesthetic revamp, even with added level before the boss battle itself.

Due to complications with the files, the last part of the map has been segmented into its own workshop post, as seen here. Be sure to play Part 1 first, linked at the top of the description!

UPDATE: Made things a tad more noticable

WALKTHROUGH:
- Head forward and enter the maintenance shaft ahead
- Press E on the input to plug in PotatOS
- Ride upwards to battle
PHASE 1
- When Wheatley starts launching bombs, stand near the numbered pillars in the corners of the room to direct the bombs at them (You should stand close to them to increase the odds of impact)
- Grab Space Core and plug him into the port on the left
PHASE 2
- This time, direct the bombs towards the glowing green nodes that show up.
- Since the original map, the hitboxes have been widened, so the bomb can make impact with the floor immediately bordering each node's alcove to make contact
- Grab Adventure Core and plug him into the port on the right
PHASE 3
- Stand inside Wheatley's ring of shields and get the bombs to hit him directly (Jumping as the bomb hits the plate helps a bit)
- Grab Fact Core and plug him in the port in the back.
PHASE 4
- When GLaDOS lowers the faith plate at the front of the room (and helpfully illuminates it) board it in the direction the arrow scrawled on the ground indicates
- Time your boarding of the plate so you don't make midair contact with the bombs
- When the plates launch you at Wheatley, smack the big red button on his rings with E
- Press the stalemate button--you win!
- Board the escape lift when it arrives.

But, well, all I can say is either reload or make use of the good 'ol "ent_fire !picker" command.

@TintinTheBoy use trigger_catapult maybe? that's what was used here.

i do understand, and I have used Google for this i have actually managed to spawn them using triggers but there is pretty much no tutorials for using futbols for a wheatley boss fight. I am still trying to get them targeted at the player thanks for your help and hopefully [you do not have to] answer this question.

Can we not turn this comments section into a tutorial thread? Try using Google or something. The Valve Developer Community and Interlopers have tutorials on various Source mapping things.

hey again ive been doing some testing and i don't know how you spawn the futbols [what im trying to achive: have another futbol spawn after one explodes also make them targeted at the player)

ah forgot to ask you one last thing how do you make the spawner with the bomb set as its spawn thing and how do you get the bomb [its not listed in the entity list thing]
