***NOTES***NOTES***NOTES***:
1-Don't worry about the turn0 trade/commerce bug, it get fixed in turn1

2-If you start the game losing a lot of gold that is because of the road upkeep, the bigger the empire the bigger the upkeep. Don't worry, remember you have culture to spend (ehem commerce, wagon trains).

3-Note for playing as Holy Roman Empire. I set up NO capital city for the Holy Roman Empire so you can choose your favorite city to place the capital (build Palace in it), just remember to do this at turn 0 so you will get the money for connecting cities with the capital at turn1.

4-Tech Tree stops at Renaissance Era (Renaissance tech take a lot to research, so don't worry you won't see fast gunpowder). But if you prefer to stay at Medieval Era you can use the "Eras - Medieval Age" mod made by BlouBlou: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=85949525&searchtext=eras+medieval

5-Diplomatic Screens are not historically, it's just for immersion.

6-Please, feel free to share your thoughts on this map, feedback is always welcome but please be polite. This scenario is at beta stage and I need you guys to help me balance it. Remember that this map is really big, it has 22 major civilizations and 200 cities, I putted a lot of hours in it, and I will put more to finish it. So please, be kind.

7-For now happiness is disabled because it's extremely hard to balance (there are small kingdoms and giant Empires).

THANKS TO:
-Spooky for supporting and helping me with some XML files and some testing, so please go check his mods, he has some cool maps.
-Craig_Stutter for sharing his lua files about religion

Enjoy the mod! : D

you added Amsterdam, a small fishing village at the time, but ignored any of the big Flemish cities in the same area like Ghent and Bruges? weird choice

Also diplomacy with city states is impossible.

Not sure if this is intended or not but all Civ Abilities have the name of the vanilla abilities, e.g. Kingdom of Jerusalem's ability is called 'Treasures of Nineveh'.

Hay! Not sure if you are keeping up in the comments or not, but, about Happyness. I had a similar issue with this when I made my Mediterranean 280bc scenarieo and my easiest balance was to either provide a free culture trait or luxery upgrade bassed on the civ's size. Not enough to fully fix the problem, but enough so that the unhappyness was not abnoxtious.

In game, a player could resolve their issues by several means, primarly through conquest and or by traiding. I also noticed that if you spawn resources based on geo location (ie, iron only in hills or gems only next to mountians, or weet only on plains tiles, ect) Then the AI will also turn to trade to aquire lux resources. On average, I could rest my happyness of my empire at 20 ish by 70ish turns, even if I started the game with -10. (Note: done on Normal game speed).

While balancing takes patient and play testing to find the right setup for each faction, it at least provides an additional struggle early game.
