Scholar's Library - All DLC Edition

Description
Adds a functional library to each Vanilla and Dragonborn player home. This library automatically sorts and maintains a collection of each world book that the player brings home.

IMPORTANT - This version of this mod requires all 3 Skyrim DLC to operate (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn). Attempting to use the mod without these DLC will cause a game crash. Description
=========

Scholar's Library adds a functional library to each Vanilla and Dragonborn player home. This library automatically sorts and maintains a collection of each world book that the player brings home.

The Library can be added to each of the Vanilla player homes by purchasing it from the applicable town's steward (Whiterun, Windhelm, Solitude, Markarth, Riften), and is automatically added to the Dragonborn home upon acquisition of the house itself (Solstheim).

To open the automatic sorter menu, activate the orb near the library. The first option 'Add New Books' will automatically take any world books from your inventory and add them to the collection. The second option 'Clean entire library' will reset every book currently in the collection to its correct place on the shelves.

Each Library is linked, meaning that any book a player adds to one player home will appear in other player homes when the automatic sorter is next used in each location.

- Addition of the Scholar's Library to the library wing of the Hearthfire houses.

Future BHM House Mods
====================

The BHM Mod Series is a set of 2 mods, both intended to provide players with an automatic inventory sorting system that physically displays the items being sorted.

The first mod in this series is Blacksmith's Basement. This mod creates a linked basement that is accessible via each player home, and provides automatic sorting and display for -
- Crafting items such as ore/ingots, soul gems, dragonbone and gems.
- Alchemy Ingredients; (future update)
- Cooking Ingredients; (future update)
- Hearthfire building supplies. (future update)

The second mod in the BHM series is this mod, which focuses on the display of collectible items. This mod will eventually include a number of other collections which can be chosen in a modular fashion -
- The Scholar's Library (Already available)
- Mask/Claw/Paragon/Insect Jar display shelves - These shelves will be linked between player houses.
- Treasure Hunter's Map - A world map that automatically stores the treasure maps from the players inventory, while providing clues as to the general location of each treasure. As above, this map will be linked between player houses.

I would eventually love to tackle daedric artifacts, weapons and armor, however such a project would require skills outside of my immediate skillset (A Modelling/Texture artist), and as such I am reluctant to commit to anything.

The library mod doesn't work with modded houses. The basement mod DOES work with all modded houses.

If you added this library room to your Skyrim Special Edition Adventurer's Basement mod I would totally pay for it!

@Bluntaxe. Thanks man - I'm not seeing the empty collection option in the orb. All I have is "add.." "sort..." and Exit.

Should I be looking somewhere else? Is there a console command or somewhere else i need to look. Thank you for your help. The mod is fantastic (basement too!). I just want to be able to see all my books =)

@Flavius - From memory there should be an option to empty the collection from the shelves and return it to inventory. Then you should be able to sort the shelves from scratch again.

If that doesn't work that im afraid I can't help you, it sounds like the reset position code isn't working on the books, which is a problem I haven't encountered before with others.

Is there any way to "Reset" the mod's memory of the books? It seems like it is remembering that those books were present before and therefore is not showing them. If I could refresh it I should get it to display to books in the container, no?

Also - for anyone else finding this with the same problem. After my books disaappeared, I found all the missing books by using the "TCL" console command and flying outside of the house. All the books were organized in a little area just outside the house surrounded by organization orbs.

I really enjoy this mod, but have run into a frustrating bug. In attempting to clean up the first time I ran into the "poltergeist " problem where all the books I had collected were on the floor upon entering breezehome.

Unfortunately, I manually picked them up (it was late maybe?) and seem to have broken the mod. All of my training books disappeared and when i readded them they now stay in the extra books container, rather than being displayed on the shelves.

@QuinzelHJ I'm not sure Bluntaxe is working on this any more. No real updates since 2015. His version of Blacksmith's Basement for Skyrim Special Edition (Adventurer's basement) has some of the features mentioned in his "upcoming features" posts for Blacksmith's Basement, but I can't find a Scholar's library for SSE at all, and I have seen no updates for this mod (Scholar's Library for Skyrim) since Feb 2015.
Unless @Bluntaxe has news for us, I think that the current state is the best you will get.

Hello !
Thanks for your job, it's really great !

But I have a little question :

Is it possible to have the library in Lakeview Manor (the house we can build nearby Falkreath) ?
I have built all the wings and my intendant doesn't propose to buy the library.

I have it in Whiterun and Solitude but it would be really great to have it in the house I built with my little hands (yes, i'm sentimental ).

Thank you in advance !

I hope I could use this mod in Skyrim SE.
Do you have any plan for this?
