Castle and Village

Description
hi there,
i like the castle map the most so far, and that standard castle needed a proper village.
most buildings are selfmade (with some ideas snatched elsewhere, the haystacks, anvil e.g.)
for the large Inn i used the splendid Rich Man's House (the integrity version) and the equally nice Wallachian Medieval House. (links below)

so the things i made so far are:
- a Stable for the Inn.
- Animal-pen and -shelter to go with the Wallachian House
- small Kota-style Houses
- small simple Houses
- a large Blacksmith's House
- a Tavern
- a Toll-/Guard-House
- a Watchmens Cabin and a Well
- Storagebuilding and Marketplace
- the Castle had to be expanded to shelter the growing number of villagers
(everything should be with working integrity, allthough its disabled in the savegame)
(there are only a few details placed around the houses, i heard they wouldn't copy proper, so more come later)

UPDATE:
So, a second village is here, although there's lots to be done still. I used mainly buildings from other Players, to try out some beautiful stuff i found.
havent done a lot of whole houses myself yet, but modified some of the used blueprints
- Barons Castle and medium stone Watchtower
- Mountain Cottage with Cows
- the bakery is ready to sell.
- one was turned into a small inn with outside serving area.
- the blacksmith was also pimped a bit.

special mention goes to the Small Gatehouse&Guardhouse from Losian, which is my absolutly favourite blueprint so far!


i hope the villages will grow even more, and as soon i find out how to turn around blueprints and stuff i'll have enough variety for more villages. (theres a rumor going around the taverns, that the barbarians have a secret keep somewhere in these lands..)

tinkered with the hochdorf castle a bit. i like the new flat, round roofs, so those got sprinkled around the main settlement. and i did place an outpost, but am not sure if it should stay there..
added some pics of the new farm "complex" in the counts village, a herbalist hut, and the new castle.

after fiddling with new blocks and ideas a new update:
- the monastary church in Hochtann has been rebuilt, the new arches being used excesivly.
- the palisade in Hochtann is also finished for the moment.
- the Baron of Hochdorf has (almost) got a new home. (not yet finished.. the winchsystem keeps destroying the gatehouse..)
would really love to have a water texture for the voxelhand, as it looks a bit funny without the river and lake i envisioned there...

the new lighting is really cool. allthough is pitchblack without light, but theres lots of tasty sujets for pictures.
and you can see all mistakes in previously dark interiors ;)

did some minor addons..
- expanded/redisigned the central castle a bit
- some new hammers and forges for the workshop at the Südlache settlement.
- the sawmill looks good but does not work.. it did today but i wasn't satisfied.
-added some roads to places i want to do some small farms or lumbersites:
someone has a special wish for this? maybe a specific blueprint i should use somehow?

started with the sawmill. as i wanted to keep close to the intended "tinkering" theme of the new settlement, it turned out a bit over complicated... despite it sounding like cheap fishing for comments, i'd like to get some tipps as to make it run smoother.
those cogwheels are not an acceptable solution i fear.

i helped to let seep back those human attributes.. stubborn persistence an ingenuity.
did some moving stuff i a new location. i plan to some day try the water-voxel hand, and to that a small village with a strong industrial theme erupted in a secluded place. those would surely be dwarfs in a fantasy world ;)
large smithy with oresmelter, and functional hammerworks by the "river". the rest is quite empty still, but i put some workshop-buildings to a different use...

hmm... being a bit frustrated atm.. when i copy mechanikal stuff it mostly works, when i try to build it it glitches like a raging wombat, most of the time destroing the surrounding stuff also...
won't build moving stuff until either stoneblocks stop breaking at the slightest touch or at least debris can be removed (including trees)..

a lumberyard has be setup in the valley.
the Gate House has a new trapdoor-style door.
